Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., says in a new documentary of his life that he is thankful for the life he's lived.
"The American people don't hold Washington and the people who work there in very high esteem. We need to make sure that we give the American people what they deserve, and right now they're not getting it," McCain said in an interview for "For Whom the Bell Tolls," named for the Ernest Hemingway novel which McCain still lists as his favorite.
"I know this is a very vicious disease. I greet every day with gratitude, and I will continue to do everything that I can but I'm also very aware that none of us live forever," he continued. "And I'm confident, and I'm happy, and I'm very grateful for the life I've been able to lead, and I greet the future with joy."

Over the past two years....there’s hardly a day that goes by that I don’t think and regret my 2008 vote (for McCain). By the time I pass on, I’ll consider it probably the biggest mistake in my life.

Yeah! made it to May 21st. No special election will be held when Mcqueeg goes. I just hope the Governor hasn’t cut some deal with Cindy or Megan for the Seat.

In many ways, the reason we are now blessed to have Donald Trump as our president is because of things that John McCain did to make that possible ... so in his remaining days I hope someone explains that to him and lets him know that some Trump supporters are grateful about this!
For example:
1) He helped fuel voter resentment for the bi-party crony capitalist establishment.
2) His nomination of Sarah Palin showed Trump how an un-PC and outspoken conservative candidate could rally the base.
3) After both his and Romney’s loss to Obama, it was demonstrated that the leftward lurch in our country could not be stopped or even slowed to any degree by a failed strategy of nominating those types of candidate (as mentioned in item 1. above).
Without observing those factors, I think it’s likely that Trump is content living out his days running his business empire and does not make the enormous personal and financial sacrifice of campaigning for and becoming our president. So again, thank you Senator McCain for help making this happen, and I hope your becoming aware of just how important your contribution was to Trump becoming our president adds to your joy in your final days (he he).
I know exactly what globalist socialists believe we deserve. I thank God every day that President Trump is standing between the establishment and normal Americans to make sure we don't get what people like Pelosi, Hillary, and McCain want to inflict on us.
