Obama spied on Trump’s campaign. Where’s the outrage?
The Washington Times ^ | Friday, May 18, 2018 | Larry O'Connor

ANALYSIS/OPINION:

It’s been nearly 24 hours since it has been revealed to the world that President Barack Obama’s Justice Department conducted a counterintelligence investigation on the Trump campaign. The investigation began 100 days before the presidential election and was executed with all the traditional tools of spy trade-craft including  informants (spies) and electronic surveillance (wire tapping.)

These stunning revelations were memorialized in the bible of the Mainstream Media: It was written in the Gospel According to the New York Times

After two years of every sentence of Trump’s rhetoric being shot through the lens of “Hitler” or “1930’s style fascist” or “Banana Republic dictator” it’s fair to ask where is the universal condemnation of the Obama/Lynch/Brennan/Clapper/Comey cabal’s Stalinesque escapade on behalf of their chosen candidate, Hillary Clinton?

In short, and with apologies to Bob Dole: Where’s the outrage? How has the brain-trust that powers the endless, navel-gazing round table discussions on Morning Joe, Hardball and every single program on CNN not found a way to muster the slightest inquisitive segment on what is clearly a historic story comparable to Watergate, Iran/Contra-gate or any other “hyphen gate” they’ve thrown at us n the past several decades?

Frankly, the absence of coverage of the Times’ game-changing expose reveals the political bias in America’s electronic newsrooms more than the “Trump called all immigrants ‘animals’” lie they pushed on us this week. What television news chooses to ignore is the best evidence of their bias than the fake news they choose to broadcast.

Let’s just reflect for a moment (with help of Mollie Hemingway at The Federalist) on damning revelations in this 4,000-plus article which paint a picture of an Obama White House meddling in a presidential election at a level that would make Vladimir Putin green with envy:

I think the lying, RINO Rethuglicans are co-conspirators to this crime of the century.

Tacit, if not explicit.

He DID know a long time ago. Remember when he insisted he was being wiretapped, and the most indulgent of the press, patted him on the head and with a patriarchal smirk, explained to him that he’d have to be living in the middle of the 20th century, for that to be the case?

There is outrage, however it is confined to only one of the two countries that inhabit the geographic space known as the United (they aren’t) States.

I can assure you that Texas is in that part of the geographic space that is outraged and will defend freedom. (all except Austin, parts of Dallas and Houston)

Is a federal jury selection limited to DC?

I’m teetering on the edge of the fence about Sessions. But it is true, as FR “just my thoughts”, commented a short while ago, Sessions is NOT going to give any hints about an ongoing investigation, including even admitting there IS or ISN’T one. If he is doing that, he’s got to be one of the last politicians on the face of the earth, who has true ethics, and we could sure use more. Your point about him not being fired yet, is a powerful one. I guess we’ll know for sure, POTUS DOES fire him.

The next time somebody on one of these threads threatens to sit home if the President or current weaklings in the current congress don’t do this or that thing conforming to their self righteous conservative purity they should think again about how much damage obama did in eight years and how entrenched our enemies have become. Obama won both times because “we” sat home and voted for him.

You got THAT right! Any of you Freepers who did that/are planning on doing that, are one of the main reasons we’re in this mess to begin with! Even John McCain or Romney, as horrible as they are, would have been better than Obama, if only by a hair’s breadth. I certainly understand wanting truly conservative candidates, but the primaries are where that battle is fought, NOT in the general elections!
And yes, I understand that the Rinos are counting on people like me, but taking one step forward, and two steps back, by refusing to vote if the candidate is a Rino, is a circular firing squad.

This pimple does need to pop pretty soon, though, because Mueller is industriously bringing in underlings, hoping to scare them into implicating those above them, like a roach crawling up the cabinet wall, to reach the birthday cake on the top shelf.

There was a time in Texas when Republicans were very rare. For 150 years. One of my ancestors was born in Texas during the Republic.

My wife and I have always been Republicans.

I hated the Left for what they did during the Vietnam war and will never forgive them for that.

My dislike for them has not receded from that as time goes by, but has grown as it became clearer what the ComDems actually represent.

We must never be this guy:

Republicans — Good guys
Democrats — Bad guys

Any and all NeverTrumpers should be tarnished forever unless they have completely shed their corrupt position. Thus I give a pass to someone like Mark Levin. Folks like a good chunk of the National Review, the Bush Family, Bill Kristol, etc. should be ruined for life. Additionally anyone who is a US Chamber of Commerce funded open-borders conservative should not ever feel confident to run for higher office.

Frankly there are some like that who are able to serve under Trump but I don’t want to see on a National Ticket (Haley) unless it’s verified they’ve amended their ways...

Don’t lecture me I voted for both of those pieces of shit.

What I’m saying is that NOW is the time to TRASH them. Destroy the legacy of John McCain... I routinely trash him on my Faceberg as I only only trash NeverTrumpers when I go political.

Who’s going to ask him those questions...

The thing is, live TV "journalists" don't have to confront Schiff with the questions; conservative columnists just have to pose the questions in their columns, left unanswered, for the effect to be the same.

Why did Trump meet with Mueller a day before he was named SC? It is believed he interviewed for the FBI which makes no sense since he was not eligible for the job after already serving 10 years. Things are hot all what they appear. Sessions is doing nothing and Trump just accepts it? Sure.

It was nothing than an attempt to recover photos of a prostitute according to G. Gordon Liddy

FOR THE BONUS PRIZE, name the alleged prostitute that the photos were of.

Until the path is clear, it would be rather stupid for Sessions to act and before the IG Report comes out.

Sessions doesn't say much, does not comment, which is a good thing. He knows everywhere around him are the "enemy". He said once, to a question about appointing a Special Prosecutor to the Trump investigation, "not until the IG report comes out on the FBI's Hillary investigation."

He did appoint a "prosecutor" from Utah who has received criminal charges from the IG and has convened a Grand Jury to question these IG referred law breakers under oath. Is Bill Preistap, head of FBI Counter Intelligence Division, Strozek's boss, one of them being questioned? Haven't heard word one about him for over a year now.

My brother lives in El Paso, has since he was stationed there at Ft Bliss years ago. He was a flight instructor in private life... owned several planes . his sons had flight license before driver’s license.. pilots for SouthWest most of the time.
The planes my brother had, he rented them to people who could afford to fly for a day or a weekend.. to lawyers, doctors, and when they brought the plane back, my brother had to go over it with a fine tooth comb.. to clean out the drugs left inside... of course they had been to Mexico and back.

My brother saw/sees terrorists’ camps in and around El Paso. People live very carefully in that area. obama denied there was any such thing in our country... but there are. A TV network did a story on the camps there and my brother said he drives down that road they showed in the story... still obama denied there were any there.

I’ve been to TX and it’s one hot place! Nice and spread out... a big place... and a border that they will not be able to completely close...
