Obama spied on Trump’s campaign. Where’s the outrage?
The Washington Times ^ | Friday, May 18, 2018 | Larry O'Connor

ANALYSIS/OPINION:

It’s been nearly 24 hours since it has been revealed to the world that President Barack Obama’s Justice Department conducted a counterintelligence investigation on the Trump campaign. The investigation began 100 days before the presidential election and was executed with all the traditional tools of spy trade-craft including  informants (spies) and electronic surveillance (wire tapping.)

These stunning revelations were memorialized in the bible of the Mainstream Media: It was written in the Gospel According to the New York Times

After two years of every sentence of Trump’s rhetoric being shot through the lens of “Hitler” or “1930’s style fascist” or “Banana Republic dictator” it’s fair to ask where is the universal condemnation of the Obama/Lynch/Brennan/Clapper/Comey cabal’s Stalinesque escapade on behalf of their chosen candidate, Hillary Clinton?

In short, and with apologies to Bob Dole: Where’s the outrage? How has the brain-trust that powers the endless, navel-gazing round table discussions on Morning Joe, Hardball and every single program on CNN not found a way to muster the slightest inquisitive segment on what is clearly a historic story comparable to Watergate, Iran/Contra-gate or any other “hyphen gate” they’ve thrown at us n the past several decades?

Frankly, the absence of coverage of the Times’ game-changing expose reveals the political bias in America’s electronic newsrooms more than the “Trump called all immigrants ‘animals’” lie they pushed on us this week. What television news chooses to ignore is the best evidence of their bias than the fake news they choose to broadcast.

Let’s just reflect for a moment (with help of Mollie Hemingway at The Federalist) on damning revelations in this 4,000-plus article which paint a picture of an Obama White House meddling in a presidential election at a level that would make Vladimir Putin green with envy:

Yes, we are witnessing the death of the Republic. I agree completely. The facts are screaming treason. Treason is a capital crime for a reason.

News says “collusion! Collusion! Collusion!” Non stop 24/7, and they will ignore this and keep yelling collusion.

Why do we never force them to talk about collusion to do what?
Obviosuly whatever the russians did was enough to convince enough americans to overcome their fraud machine, and the most money spent by any candidatein the history of the republic including record donations from the millionairs, and billionaires and those evil corporations that OWS was presumably railing about.

I want to know, in detail exactly what russia did, all i have heard is that trump colluded. Do not people want to know what was done to neutralize and negate hundreds of millions of dollars in hillary’s war chest? What did russia do to change the minds of enough individual voters across hundreds of thousands of square miles for against a candidate that was a sure thing.

I would think every single person running for any office world wide would want to know in precise detail what teeny tiny tactic can turn all the money and resources of the worlds greatest juggernaut to steaming piles of scrap.

But not a single person (including us) is the slightest bit curious about it

I think the answer is there was bi-partisan (i.e. uni-party) support for taking Donald Trump out of the presidential race. I think they are still intent on removing him from office by any means necessary.

Yep. Team Kenya saw they had top cover from the GOP and thought they had a free hand to do whatever they wanted to Trump. Now we see how much damage the hysterical Never Trumpism in the GOP during the primaries and after the convention caused this country.

Do coup d’etats usually get names? How about the Clinton Coup? The Deep State Insurgency?

Oh oh oh oh ohhhh

The blind cannot see, nor can the brainwashed Leftists. They can only think about investigation, but like ostriches their head is totally in the dark.

To me, this is a very confusing time in history. Normally, when a coup d'etat fails, the perpetrators the conspiracy are rounded up, tried and usually shot. Now-a-days the conspirators laugh in your face, dare you to do anything, write books and live conformable in retirement on the taxpayer dime.

These are strange times indeed. It isn't like the conspiracy is hard to figure out. It 's oblivious and pretty easy to connect the dots when you look at the facts we have.

Yes, of course almost all of the media is totally complicit.

They do know what will happen if the anti corruption element prevails. They will lose their influence, power and money.

When half the country desires and works for a form of socialist totalitarianism, the outrage is not going to be as pronounced as when you are dealing with a solid majority of free people.

There is outrage, however it is confined to only one of the two countries that inhabit the geographic space known as the United (they aren’t) States.

Enough? Probably.

Exactly. The evidence is there and more than enough to start proceedings.

Does it have to be just the AG who can bring charges? I am pretty sure Congress can. But as so many of them are in on it, that isn’t going far either. OR do we still have hope there? Can anyone else bring charges? IF so, what the heck are they waiting on?

Nixon was really a pretty good president.

The Watergate thing was not really that bad.

THIS is a once in the history of a nation event.

If not handled properly, the result will lead to bloodshed.

I believe Trump has “had it” sufficiently that he will act. Only Congress will have the ability to take it to the source of this crime.

Ditto. I am so tired of the purists who allowed this to advance while they sat home on their self-righteous tushes.

We need to ensure we vote. Get involved in getting people registered, to the polls, etc. as hard as the enemy does. And also ensure the counting and laws are passed to ensure only legal citizens (and live ones) are voting.

Then WHOEVER is in office, make sure they are working for US.

I don’t see a good ending here due to the fact the GOP is aiding and abetting the Mueller Coup. You can bet Senator Dick Burr would be hoping mad had this happened to President Marco Rubio. Instead, he hates Trump and allows his committee to be a tool of the coup. This won’t end well. Guaranteed.

Patriots do not need a word.

But Tea Party in the inception was powerful. IRS defused that, but it may show it’s head again soon if this is not dealt with.

It's not just Trump.

Any Republcan will do.

Let's be honest: a Republican president who engaged in even a fraction of what Obama did would've been jailed long ago.
