"The case was closed because the police lack information about the culprit," Tone Bysting, an Oslo police official, told AFP.

Someone slipped it under the door? I've got a question - after I call the cops when I see fake news, will they investigate?

Police investigation?

I thought anyone could nominate you for The Prize.

Wasn’t Rush Limbaugh nominated?

https://thelede.blogs.nytimes.com/2007/02/02/nobel-nominations-left-and-right/

Just as the deadline for recommendations was closing yesterday, the former vice president, Al Gore, was nominated for the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize, The Associated Press reports. Two Norwegian parliament members, Boerge Brende and Heidi Soerensen, put forth the nomination — as well as one for a Canadian Inuit activist, Sheila Watt-Cloutier...

Not to be outdone, the Landmark Legal Foundation, a public interest law firm “fighting for conservative principles in America,” submitted a nomination for its own candidate — someone, the group’s president, Mark R. Levin, said, whose “tireless efforts to promote liberty, equality and opportunity for all humankind, regardless of race, creed, economic stratum or national origin,” deserves to be recognized: Rush Limbaugh.

A recipient.

The Nobel Prize today is meaningless. Might as well give one to Taylor Swift.

Only a select group of individuals -- including members of parliament and government, former laureates and some university professors -- are entitled to propose names.

That explains a lot of the nominees the past few decades.

They might as well give it to the North Korean leader.

After giving it to Obama for being black, it no longer has any real meaning.

We beg to differ in calling this a "prestigious prize".
Any who understand exactly who was given this in the past could understand why.

Our President Trump needs no 'prize' as some would need
a carrot. Already a big name and well known; he only desires to MAGA.

The Marxists would rather marginalize NPP than award it to Trump.

Considering obama got the “prize” for doing absolutely nothing, literally, then the value of that prize drops to zero. It’s meaningless. And then Al Gore got it for his climate change crap which made it a complete joke before obama got it.

It could just as well be given to a kid for doing a good job of cleaning his room, thereby keeping the peace with his parents. At least this would be a greater accomplishment than whatever obama did to get it.

The Nobel Peace Prize is now only meaningful as a paperweight. It joins the “Oscar” award’s only value as an outhouse doorstop.

I hope my POTUS is awarded the NPP and turns it down, citing “my cousins hamster is in town for the weekend, so I must decline the invitation”

I’m sure they blocked other nominations for Trump, saying he was already nominated.

Now they removed his nomination.

Sneaky

Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize before he officially took office. You could say he got it for showing up, but he hadn’t yet showed up. It was just a door prize for an affirmative action hire. A chicken dinner would be worth more.

I was looking up Trump’s Nobel Peace prize nomination and found this. Maybe the Norwegians are incredibly psychic.
