The White House Correspondents’ Association distanced itself late Sunday from comedian Michelle Wolf after her comedy routine on Saturday that some found vulgar and personal.
“Last night’s program was meant to offer a unifying message about our common commitment to a vigorous and free press while honoring civility, great reporting and scholarship winners, not to divide people,” Margaret Taley, the WHCA president, said in a statement. “Unfortunately, the entertainer’s monologue was not in the spirit of that mission.”

My theory is that they threw Wolf under the bus because the jokes about Huckabee Sanders’ appearance hit a little too close to home for these liberal female reporters.

For 8 years, the Left tried its best to portray that dude Michelle as beautiful and glamorous.
Time after time her linebacker-esque build and angry visage were thrust in our faces and we were told to ignore our watering eyes and trust the narrative, Michelle is the EPITOME of beauty.
I used to think it was a little hyperbolic to say the Left were evil and completely crazy, but the truth is they have really, really lost their collective minds and anyone who CHOOSES to ally themselves with these Fascists no longer deserves any quarter.
They invited her, they knew what she would say, and thus approved of what she said. It is that simple.

Note: for the record, here was Wolf’s exact line: “We are graced with Sarah’s presence tonight. I have to say I’m a little star-struck. I love you as Aunt Lydia in The Handmaid’s Tale.”
It seems very doubtful that Wolf was not referencing Sanders' physical appearance.
Nevertheless, the far greater hypocrisy on the part of the "journalists" is their refusal to acknowledge that they are not "reporters" but activists rapidly promoting an agenda.
The WHCA knew exactly what it was getting.
Did they issue a formal apology to Sarah and the President?

But thanks to their sordid actions, Sarah Huckabee-Sanders has just become the heroic darling of America.
They should change the name and invite all of the modern propagandists from Russia, China, and Iran to attend and compare attack fiction on how Joseph Goebbels would hoodwink America.They should serve nothing but beer and sauerkraut in honor of their historical predecessors.

Oh yes, it was perfectly in the spirit of the democrat mission.
Slander that can be successfully prosecuted in a court of law is no joke. It should always be prosecuted by the aggrieved party.

A comedian is funny. That female was not. Therefore she was merely a vile talker.

All these women jokers had whiny, high pitched voices and I thought that was funny. And they talked about being put out by Trump and Sanders, being crushed like bugs under the boots of Trump and Sanders and making these high pitched voice cries like a chorus of bugs whining and whining and I thought that was funny... But you know next year there should be more diversity and not have so many bug and shrew like comedians attend the stately dinner. It looks bad on journalists.
