Sean looks like he got involved in some complicated investments. I wonder if he knew exactly how these investments worked? Doesn’t help his credibility in some areas. Whatever the situation he will be pressed to explain.

These aren’t complicated. I know a few people who deal in HUD housing.

What's so complicated about buying rental real estate or fixer-uppers for sale? It is routine. It is also routine to use shell companies to do so, especially if the person behind the shell is well-known or perceived as having deep pockets.

Complicated by whose standards? Yours?

Does a "complicated investment" mean it's illegal?

What he's really done is he's exposed a lot of people doing REAL illegal stuff. So now they're scared shitless enough to try and destroy him before he destroys them.

Some people are too stupid to see what is really going on.

Nothing complicated about it. Seems like a straightforward real estate investment to me. However, even if it were a complicated investment, when did it become illegal to make investments that are complicated ?

Doesn’t hurt his credibility at all

REITs and other investments are used by folks all the time

Maybe. However, this article reads like he masterminded everything. Hardly true in any way.

I’m not going to be personal but it looks like you’re uninformed about real estate investment vehicles and opportunities

You might should read up on the practice of buying foreclosures via HUD

one thing I was ignorant of till last week was nobody uses HUD statements at closing anymore

The new deal is a CD

closing disclosure
