As more is becoming known about Travis Reinking, the suspect wanted for murdering four people in a Nashville area Waffle House this morning, we’re hearing a familiar refrain. Reinking was well known to both federal and state authorities.
In July 2017, the U.S. Secret Service arrested Reinking for being in a “restricted area” near the White House, according to the Secret Service. After the arrest, his Illinois firearms authorization was revoked and local Illinois police seized four weapons.
The firearms were given back to his family.
“Among the weapons seized by those authorities was the AR-15 rifle used at the Waffle House today,” said Nashville police spokesman Don Aaron at a Sunday afternoon news conference.
Police believe Reinking’s father received the weapons after their confiscation, and returned them to his son. Nashville Police Chief Steve Anderson said he believes under Illinois law, guns seized can be returned to someone who has a valid state authorization.
Reinking is still on the loose and police believe he may be armed. According to an NPR report, the only reason the number of casualties this morning wasn’t higher was that Reinking’s rifle jammed.
A Waffle House patron who saw that the gunman was “apparently struggling or looking at” with his rifle, and took advantage of the moment by “rushing him,” wresting the gun away and throwing it behind the counter – prompting the gunman to leave.

I’d like to see if the Waffle House parking lot surveillance cameras captured any unmarked gov. white vans or white pick ups.
The San Bernardino PD live scanner had a cop asking if he was the guy they’d been told about two weeks earlier. Several of us on FR we listening to that in real time so it isn’t a rumor.
Crazy Adam Lanza killed his mother and stole HER guns and used them to attack Sandy Hook Elementary School.
Her foolishness was taking her nut job son to a gun range, and having firearms in close contact with her deranged son.
One press report said than Adam Lanza had a massive chart detailing all the mass shootings that had happened previously.
One would think that would have been a big red flag for the mother, but n-o-o-o-o.
It was also reported that Adam Lanza wanted to shoot up the high school but was deterred when he saw a police car in front of the school.
Brave citizen. Too bad the evil lying msm hasn’t informed us if he voted against their Hellary. Bet he did.

our town had it’s own shooting in a waffle House this weekend but you will not hear about it. A local high school basketball star was shot in the leg by a group of people in a car that was soon apprehended and the 4 youths arrested, they have since been released and no names were given...Our town has a black mayor and a black crime problem, which has caused a loss of jobs as no one wants to locate here and housing market here is abysmal as a secondary result.

Oddly enough, back in Feb of this year a woman from Laverne, a town 20 miles outside Nashville TN, crashed the White House gates.
Makes one wonder if she knew this Nashville Waffle House gunman from the local Sasquatch/Chupracabra/Bilderburger/Tinfoil Hat gathering at the park.

In this case, although I hate the idea....I think the father will have to be brought into court and charged with something. It’s obvious that the father can’t handle weapons either.
Apparently, no one thought to toss him in the loony bin.

So, as night follows day, he went out and killed four innocent victims.
His father has a piss poor knowledge of the law or refused to abide by it.
I only ask because many here don't believe any sort of problem or mental illness is good reason because, like anything else in the legal world, they can be abused.....

If his son is mentally ill his father was remiss in returning these firearms to his son.
Yep, government so often seems to be unable to find its own behind with all its hands and a flashlight, and yet some on the left want us to give up our guns. Let the government handle it; you’ll be perfectly safe, har-har.
