Anyone know what Levin’s beef is with Steyn? I’m curious and like both of them!

I hoped Mark would be part of CRTV.
Unfortunately, it appears to not have worked.

Mark has been curiously silent about this from the get-go.

2. An Award in favor of Oak Hill is made in the amount of $908,124, together with interest in the amount of 9% from the date of the breach to the date of the Award on past damages and from the date of the Award until payment is made on future damages.
3. Attorneys fees and costs are collectively awarded to Steyn, MSE and Oak Hill in the amount of $1,012,729.

Looks like CRTV breached and had to pay Steyn over $1 million - an expensive breach.

Could be a judge who doesn’t like Levin, but I didn’t read anything about it yet.
To: mewzilla
Thanks for article link.
Levin was probably jealous and worked behind the scenes to
get Steyn fired.
Levin is a real piece of work.

A breach of contract issue while Steyn was under contract with CRTV.
Unfortunate. I still like both though.
To: Chickensoup
Technically it was an arbitration and not a court case though the arbiter is titled as Judge.
It was an interesting read though on some of the behind the scenes stuff that happens with production companies and show development.

I always figured CRTV stood for CRap TV and I guess I was right.
Steyn is the real deal. Levin, not so much.

I like both, too. I LMAO at Steyn when he subs for Rush, I think he is by far the best stand-in and that he’s a phenomenally talented guy. But I have to say that I did not care much at all for Steyn when he had his own show. It sounds odd, I know. I have no explanation. But I hated the show he had (his own, pre-CRTV) while he had it. I am not a subscriber to CRTV so I didn’t get to evaluate Steyn on CRTV.
