Former first lady Barbara Bush is in failing health, a source close to the Bush family tells CNN. At 92 years old, Bush has been suffering for some time and has been in and out of the hospital multiple times in the last year while battling with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, or COPD, and congestive heart failure. The source said she is being cared for at her home in Houston and has decided she does not want to go back into the hospital.

Any mother would campaign or do the same for her child. I know if I was in a wheel chair or using a walker..I would be there supporting my son or daughter. Do you have the photo of Jeb opening the door for himself and what? letting it close on her?

Many other causes besides smoking including genetic or in my case scar tissue from two sternotomies

Yup, I know an elderly woman who died from COPD and never smoked a day in her life. She and her husband did own a housecleaning service and she told me she had ignored the warnings on some of the chemicals where it said use a respirator when using.
When a former first lady passes, it is tradition for all living first ladies, past and present, to attend the funeral.

There was a Saturday night live skit about George and Barbara Bush. Way Back when Bush was vice president. I wish I could remember who portrayed George and Barbara, but the joke was that Bush had brought his mother along Actually it was Barbara. It was a funny skit. I’ll have to YouTube it.
