But, not in the quantity needed for a chemical attack. Nor the air force required to carry it out.
Even if you believe that Assad was the one who gassed 70 people how many people did we kill last night in 103 missile strikes?
there are US intelligence operatives operating all throughout the middle east, and MANY in Syria.
These people are trained and deployed to tell the situation room what they see, hear and think.
Our feelings, thoughts and what we think is evidence (Like Syrian government-controlled agitprop machines giving us pictures of propane tanks sitting in beds under holes in the terribly, terribly thin roof) do not come into the conversation.
your meme,
your stupid meme,
I fixed your stupid meme.
Would Alex Jones lie to them?
The “White Helmet” videos aren’t enough proof? /s
But can they make sarin gas and can they make large volumes of it and can they make a delivery system?
Many things are dangerous.
How is chlorine so dangerous we need to have a war?
“Would it make you feel any better, little girl, if they was pushed out of windows?”
Doubtful that many people were killed by these night time strikes, but even one would be too many if the Douma incident turns out to be a staged event.
I watched an interview yesterday with a medical resident who was working at the hospital in Douma the night of the alleged gas attack. He was identified after appearing in the back ground of the widely disseminated hospital video.
He tells a compelling story that the patients were being treated for smoke inhalation from a building fire when someone arrived and said the patients were victims of chemical weapons. That's when the panic started and relatives started grabbing inhalers and spraying people with water, etc.
The doctor was emphatic that the patients were NOT exhibiting signs of chemical toxins.
This type of first hand eyewitness testimony will be very hard for the West to refute, which may partly explain why the air strikes were undertaken last night before the UN investigation team arrived in Syria.
Ready, fire, aim. The modern form of _warfare_.
Chlorine gas hugs the ground.
In WWI I believe it was the initial gas used, but it was found to not be very effective.
He gave a more specific answer the next day. Been watching the news briefs today along with the UN and NATO talks and it seems pretty clear that we had good justification.
I thought mustard gas was the one primarily used in WWI. My grandfather was a victim of it.
I certainly don’t know the full suite of gases the Allies & Central Powers used. Here’s a wiki link, don’t know how accurate it is. (At first glance it looks well sourced!)

“it seems pretty clear that we had good justification.”
After Colin Powell, as well.
Where is the evidence? Generals saying, “I’m confident” cuts no ice with me.
