I’m at the front of the line in opposition to this intervention, but this article is from Thursday, 4/12. Mattis, last night, stated that he has subsequently seen evidence of a chemical attack. Again, I oppose what DJT did, but this is old news.
The article is posted now for a very good reason. Yesterday, Mattis said there’s no evidence.
When asked last night for the evidence, all he said was “I’m confident.”
That’s not evidence. That’s Colin Powell 2.

Mattis stated this old news story early in the day and when he got briefed later, stated there was conclusive evidence of Syrian and Russian involvement.
