Tomorrow Attorney General Jeff Sessions will announce the assignment of U.S. Attorney John Lausch to facilitate the production of documents from the DOJ (Horowitz/Huber) to the House Judiciary Committee, and Chairman Bob Goodlatte.
Mr. Lausch is a Trump appointed U.S. Attorney from outside Washington DC. John Lausch currently heads the Northern District of Illinois which includes Chicago, and this specific U.S. Attorney has extensive experience in complex cases of conspiracy and political corruption; a key skill-set given the issues within the Horowitz/Huber investigation of potential politicization of the FBI and DOJ offices.
Accepting the OIG report is almost certainly the most complex undertaking of IG Horowitz career; and accepting the multitude of possible angles within each section of the investigative inquiry are so consequential; theres a strong likelihood the report could come out in stages.

Then we can agree to differ on that point.
Strike two.
Well you may have to refresh my memory at this rate. I skim CTH but i dont make notes.
You’re out. When it comes to Sundance, you obviously have no idea what you’re talking about.
And btw, congratulations. You’ve driven me back into the Sundance camp. [I HATE to see people being smeared.] If I ever have occasion to reference him in the future, this is what I’ll say:
Sundance is obviously dead wrong about the Sessions/Rosenstein/Mueller cabal. But cut the man some slack—he’s been right about everything else.
Oh, well. You seemed more astute and discriminating. Critical thinkers are certainly not located at CTH. Read the CTH comments. Tell me if you find them embarrassing.
I have read my share of Treehouse comments. They bother me 100% less than conservatives resorting to vile, baseless smears.
Please rest assurred i have no intention of smearing anyone. And I suspect the same is true for the many others who find bradman less than credible. I must confess that your reaction seems a little too personal and animated to be dispassionate. Are you somehow connected to CTH in any way? Your reactions seem way excessive for the simple claim that somebody was a hillary supporter.
‘Please rest assurred i have no intention of smearing anyone.’
Too late. You already did.
And it was disgraceful.
So who are you really? Bradman? Nobody but him would consider anything in this dialogue offensive.
Fail.
Your ad hominems are pathetic. But then, you have no facts.
I wonder. It hasn’t even impacted the Q crew. They’re still trusting Trump’s enemies, even as those same enemies are destroying Trump.
Notice what Q never says: TRUST Trump.
I pay no attention to anything Q says. I skip the Q threads and consider Q to be a con man. It is sad to see this once great site reduced to Q watching.
Agree completely.
+1
You honestly believe they are going to prosecute one of their own? Not just one, but a bunch of their own for that matter? The DOJ and FBI don’t clean house via criminal prosecution, they clean house via retirement or agent so and so is taking leave to spend time with their family. Doesn’t matter the crime they committed. Exposing the crime hurts their image so they think so nothing but sunshine and skittles please.
You still believe that working within the system is going to change things. Without the appearance of a great upheaval it isn’t going to happen, that train left the station long ago. We are far beyond the corruption of the Gilded Age. Business, government federal, state and local and worst still the criminal justice system are not to be trusted. Throw in the weaponazation of the intelligence community and you have the perfect storm.
I am not willing to give up but I am not going to get my hopes up for what is obviously just another attempt by the DOJ/FBI at obfuscation.
I personally know people in the FBI that would love to chomp on wrong-doers. So I don't paint organizations with one broad brush. There are great people in them. So, to answer your question, yes, I do believe people can be prosecuted.
People are prosecuted when the citizenry moves to elect the right people to do it. We have obviously failed. We voted for Barky twice, and for the Bushes and Clinton. There are residual effects to that, and it's going to take time and effort to bring sanity back to good government. There are going to witness more failures because it is several layers deep. DJT's selection of his cabinet didn't reflect foreknowledge he was heading into war. The re-shuffling does.
But above all, I do not accept defeatist attitude. When things get rough, I reflect on the discipline and tenacity of USS Hornet's Torpedo Squadron 8, or the captain and crew of USS Johnston. And that steels me.
