President Donald Trump’s approval rating hit 50 percent in Rasmussen’s daily presidential tracking poll Monday, which puts him ahead of his predecessor at the same point in the presidency.
The last time Trump hit 50 percent in the Rasmussen tracking poll was February 27. At the time, he was generally within the 47-50 percent range. The President’s approval rating outpaces that of former President Barack Obama, who sat at 46 percent in Rasmussen’s tracking poll on April 2, 2010.

It went up because he signed it. The average American just wants to keep the spending party going. Screw the future.

That makes sense. A lot of people may have seen that as Trump showing his willingness to cooperate with the other side.

Unlike his predecessor who took us backwards and tried to convince us that the rotten economy and mass illegal immigration was the "new normal".
Americans don't want that kind of retrograde, weak leadership.
They want a strong president who is a stand-up leader. Trump is their man.
This is well nigh impossible.
Every living human being hates Trump.
Every animal hates Trump.
Every plant hates Trump.
Every insect hates Trump.
Every microbe hates Trump.

But the “historically low” poll numbers. Oh, wait..
Somehow I’m guessing the MSM won’t want to talk about this poll and any comparison to their beloved Obama at a similar point will be strictly verboten.

Can’t say with certainty that is the reason Trump’s approval went up. I’d say the meeting with Kim might be a factor too. Lots going on recently that could play in to the rise.
My personal opinion is that people have grown very tired of the continuous bashing of this President by the MSM. It is depressing to most people and it does not match what they observe with their own eyes - an improving economy, more jobs, tax relief, etc etc. I am always amused to hear some MSM pundit talk about how unpopular he is never mentioning that the favorability of the media is far lower.
Why does Drudge have to call positive Trump poll numbers a “shock”?
