Well, Mr. Hogg, I scored a 1480 on the SATs in 1979. Rather high -- the 97% percentile -- but I elected to go to a state school because I lacked all that White Privilege I hear so much about.

Still turned out quite well.

I would suggest that high schools across the nation have weakened themselves enough that you can ‘cake-walk’ your way to graduation, and easily make some fake honor-roll status in today’s environment. So here’s the SAT...now acting as the buffer for college entry. It levels the field. If you really didn’t learn that much, it’ll hinder your entry to the upper-level colleges.

He’ll get to some college....probably a Florida public college. I suspect he’ll find that they demand a bit more than he’s used to....and his free-time will be eaten up by speeches and weekend rallies. That 4.25 GPA won’t occur in college. Anger and frustration will build up by the first year, and he’ll leave that college by spring of 2019.
