With policy like this, it wasn’t a surprise when the FBI reported in September that violent crime was up in California for the second straight year. Housing and wage crises are also gripping the used-to-be Golden State.

It’s now undeniable that liberal policies have destroyed the quality of life in one of our most beautiful states. This isn’t hyperbole, it’s an objective assessment by US News and World Report’s “Best States” ranking, which places California dead last in the “Quality of Life” category.

Not at all distracted by the dumpster fire their policies have created – including explosions in homelessness, drug abuse, crime, and criminal illegal immigrants enjoying state protection – California’s Democrats have decided their next big mission is to sue the federal government over the citizenship question being included again on the U.S. census form.

In addition to a lower census count possibly costing California a seat in the House of Representatives, Newsweek reported that California’s attorney general complained “that depressed participation (in the census by illegal immigrants) would ‘deprive California and its cities and counties of their fair share of billions of dollars in federal funds.’”

And with that, we finally found something California liberals want from the federal government – everyone else’s money.

Any victim or family of deceased victims of criminal illegals that have been released by California need to sue the hell out of every California politician that aids and abets this lawlessness. The Feds need to arrest and try them as accessories to the crimes committed.

My family who came to America from Germany around 1900, and who established several businesses in California, have all left California because the liberal Democrats in power have destroyed what used to be a family-orientated state and made it a state full of illegals on welfare costing taxpayers billions of tax dollars. After we sold our business in Anaheim, there were 25 murders within a few blocks of our business. My beautiful Presbyterian church in the center of downtown Anaheim is now a Mexican church...
California has been overrun by illegals and the democrats want more of them to maintain political control over California. My community was invaded because of liberal politics...and I hate them for destroying my childhood memories.

I lived in California for twenty years. Northern California’s Mediterranean climate was perfect, and San Francisco was and in uncommonly beautiful. The LA area was beginning to go to the dogs, but was in the early stages. What they have done is akin to fouling their own nest. The land remains beautiful; the people are decadent.

Yup,I got lost once in Palos Verdes Estates.Certainly very nice.But there are many,many nice spots on the west coast of Florida...that have good weather too (at least from November to March).

we put criminals in prison for 25 years for three strikes and crime went down. The governor led to us and people voted for two initiatives and passed law that let 10s of thousands out of prison early and crime went up. Calif still don’t care or they re too stupid too see what liberals are doing to us.

Yup, San Francisco is the most beautiful city in the world. But as Shakespeare once wrote, the devil hath power to assume the most pleasing shape. Not to mention the sidewalks are filled with human defecation. :)

I lived in San Diego for three years in the mid 90’s. The city is great. They hate the state government and all the socialists who have driven up costs and taxes while choking off growth and driven many businesses out of the state. The sad thing is other than that coastal strip starting north of Orange County and running to just north of Oakland, the rest of the state would be just fine. Problems is the socialists are densely packed into that strip and can outvote the rest of the state.

A woman from near San Freako has just moved here to conservative NE FL , and now working where I work. The woman is plain nuts. I am not talking about just liberal, but her temper, her attitude, her lying all the time, and her personality is not going down too well with work, but she is so far up her own ass she does not even see how out of touch she is to the south.
