Just hours after threatening a veto, President Trump said Friday afternoon that he had signed the sweeping $1.3 trillion spending bill passed by Congress early Friday and averted a government shutdown. In a morning tweet, Trump said he might veto the omnibus bill because it does nothing to address the fate of young undocumented immigrants known as “dreamers” and does not fully fund his border wall. This was Congress’ version of Obamacare-—

You have to sign it to get to see what is in it-—over 2200 pages.

Also- I want someone to put together a full year calendar for Pres. Trump, that shows all the days Congress is in recess for the whole year.

They chose a budget date awhile back that was a Friday—and ‘by coincidence’ also the last day before Congress bolted Washing DC for their ‘Easter Break”.

Congress pulled a fast one on Trump——THIS TIME.

I have confidence they won’t get by with it again.

I would have advised him to NOT sign anything until he & his staff had time to read every single word. I am sure there are unknown financial traps inside those 2200++ pages.

Maybe a “GO FUND ME’ page would draw enough money to build the wall immediately. The Congress is stalling in hopes of never having to build the wall.

I am pleased with economic growth, jobs, and Capitalism. Did I not already tell you this?

Yes, I did.

What I am NOT pleased about was having my taxes raised by capping or eliminating my deductions to "pay for" the tax cut for billion dollar corporations like Facebook, Google, Apple, and Amazon (all of whom hate the President, conservatives, and Christians).

And once again, I am all for tax cuts across the board. This bill was not an across the board tax cut.

The loss of deductions, the personal exemption (hurts large families....I thought the GOP was pro-family?), and other odious provisions in the law were and are crummy policy.

There are literally millions of middle class families who are going to have a tax RAISE, not a tax cut.

That alone violates Trump's campaign promise:

"Everybody is getting a tax cut, especially the middle class."

Well, that didn't happen.

No one is blaming Trump for the bill, they are blaming him for signing it. He could have vetoed it and let them over ride the result would have been the same. The bill would have became law and Trump could have maintained faith with his base. Saying they should suck up and take it isn’t working.

Also, hubs said that September will be the proof....that Trump has said he won’t sign this horrible bill, again. And, that we’ll see, then.

My political brother conservative, you cant know how much I hope you are right about trust restored and Trump’s reelection in 2020. Two and a half years is a long time in politics. Its the election seven months from now I am most concerned about.

The Republican traitors in the House leadership who promised 15 billion for the Wall and delivered 1.6 billion with strings; and gave Planned Parenthood half a billion in their OWN BILL after promising defunding, deserve serious defeat in November. Unfortunately, about 90% of the R’s rank and file voted FOR the bill also.

The problem is, where should our retaliation stop? I doubt Trump could save any of them if not for the ton of Pork they are bringing home with them for their vote. Kazan, we may survive a Left-wing massacre in the House, because politics are still greatly local.

This is, however, a very large challenge for the Rust Belt-Mid-West workers who bear the wounds of betrayal at the hands of the Democrats. Can they forgive in time for November? I am sure they will not forget. If you are a praying man—now is the time.
