Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, fresh off of not apologizing for the social media giant’s failure to prevent sketchy election data firm Cambridge Analytica from partnering with a similarly sketchy app to allegedly scrape 50 million users’ profile data, briefly emerged from his gilded panic room on Wednesday evening for an interview with CNN’s Laurie Segall in which he largely repeated his PR department’s talking points.
With all the charm of an awkward teenage robot in a wig, Zuckerberg finally clarified that he was “really sorry that this happened.” He reiterated that he believed the company made big mistakes, first by allowing app developers far too much access to user data in previous builds of the site, and later by blindly trusting that Cambridge Analytica and other companies involved would actually delete it just because they sent them a sternly worded letter. Zuckerberg committed to notifying all impacted users that third parties may have run off with their data.
But the longer the interview dragged on, the more it seemed like Zuckerberg didn’t really have a good answer to anything and just wants this whole mess to blow over.

Eduardo Saverin is more than laughing. Zuckerberg, for the good of the company....should have been dumped around 2012. He’s the most unprepared CEO in existence. On the technology side, and developmental side....he might have value, but as a business-savvy guy....no, Zuckerberg ought to be paid some money...then let go.

This is a political crime, say the Red Guards at CNN. Just like the charges of collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign (which also isn’t a real crime). Meanwhile FB is basically using every trick in the book to ban or silence conservative voices on it’s platform. But CNN is cool with that.
Zuckerburg better wake up and smell the coffee, however. The MSM wants it’s monopoly back. They’d like nothing better than to see FB made into a public utilty or have it go away entirely.

He started FB with the only intent to make it easier for him to pick up chicks while he was living in the dorm. At least that is the story when it first started to get noticed.
He is a patsy because someone saw what he had started and wanted to control it. Just throw enough money his way and he could get all the chicks he wanted and that would occupy him enough to stay out of the way.
Then, he became arrogant and now he is finding out the devil’s trump card is the arrogance. Too late stupid.
People are so gullible and easily manipulated these days. They will put all kinds of personal info on social media knowing full well that anyone can see it.
If the government sent a black Suburban down the streets taking pictures of everything there would be a huge outcry about privacy rights.
Do the same thing with a funny looking car with GOOGLE on it and people will wave to it and tell their friends how cool it looks.

When I caught wind employers were demanding passwords, I realized what was happening and deleted me account.
Only on for a few months to check it out before quickly realizing what was going on.
Never post on social media and never talk to the cops.
Go to hell, you slimy piece of $hit! You would sell your mother for money. FB was created to induce people to post personal information which FB would then use to present “targeted” ads. A really idiotic business model which has made him billions.

Not really, just he’s not remotely as smart as the press makes him out to be.
Anyone with a brain knows, if you give open access to data, sooner or later someone will abuse it... this is basic security principles.
Fact that this never crossed anyones mind at facebook, or at least no one in a position of decision making authority, tells you all you need to know about that org. While they may have some smart engineers working at the company they clearly have no pragmatic smarts in positions of authority.
Subpoena his ass, drag him in front of 4 or 5 Congressional and Senate committees, put him under oath, and question him until he drops.
