New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof wants people to know how scary climate change is, so he and about 50 bazillionaires are traveling the world in a private jet to warn people.
Rather than writing about climate change from the offices of the New York Times, this week Kristof filed his story from Easter Island. Kristof discussed how the island's natives deforested the place, making it unlivable. He then used that as a parable for climate change.
Prove that climate scientists know what they're talking about first. Then prove that changes in behavior could have a measurable effect on the climate. Then show us that you are willing to live by these recommended changes. Then come talk to us.
Maybe then, we'll be willing to listen. Until then, shut it. You're just embarrassing yourself.

Just another gay employee of The New York Times.
.....irrational because it would involve substantial economic cost without providing any economic benefit...

This was written by a liberal about enforcing our immigration laws, but it perfectly describes Gore-Bull Warming.
So they are making their case about global warming in a place where some tribe cut down all the trees.
These people are morons.
NYT Spring Break
Most of these malthusians think half or more of the world population needs to be eliminated to save the planet, so why am I skeptical their concern about global warming killing people?
So they are making their case about global warming in a place where some tribe cut down all the trees.
These people are morons.
IF it were not a lie, they wouldn’t need all the noise.
Turn on all your lights at 8:30 p.m. local on Saturday night.
And not one of them could perform even the simplest calculation on the “extinction rate” of the very narrow pieces of the infrared spectrum absorbed by CO2. (”Extinction” is used by folks working in the atmospheric transmission area, engineers use “attenuation”.)
But, they have really impressive degrees.
In journalism.
Or sociology.
Or political “science”.
LOL - the New York Times lacks the ability to feel shame...
So, on the island, will Kristof be nailing feminists, or young boys, or is he a receiver? We know that sex is always involved with this crowd.
Easter Island is deforested due to chopping down trees and using them for moving stone carving.
It is said the southern desert in Israel is deforested due to them making chariot wheels for Egypt back in 1500BC.
Of course we will never know.
They always look like a putz.
But why a fuel chugging jet? Why not do a telecommunications conference with holograms of yourself?
I have read the itineraries of these 6-figure private jet tours. It’s amazing they are often sold out. This one was through Abercrombie and Kent.
Avoid the TSA for a mere $135K!
I thought Kristof was married to Sheryl Wu Dunn. Did he come out of the closet?
if someone could ever devise a way to control sun spot activity then they could actually control the earth’s weather. Short of that, the man made global warming hoax is a NWO conduit designed to control the world’s social structure and Al Gorelioni is just their mouth piece who hasn’t a clue about solar science. But he’s a good liar.
I thought he was gay! Maybe I have him confused with Frank Bruni. Kristof always comes across as a girly man.
Sounds like Haiti. They should stop there for a few days too.
