They suspended me and a friend for two days. They did not have in-school suspension then.

They tried to convince us it was a serious thing but the beach got the better of that argument.

These parents need to stand up to school officials. File suit and request ACLU assistance.

We have let libs get by too long.

Baker Act is only good for 72 hours. Did they commit him?

Great lawsuit pending... Sue the Leftist morons for millions, then home school. Can anyone answer the question...How much time does our nation have left, to remain a Constitutional Republic?

No. Social media is social. I can’t count the number of deer, hogs, coyotes, etc, shot this past winter that showed up on my FB. Guns and archery equipment too. Nobody said a word, especially the schools!

People shouldn’t be accepting this overreach!

“Baker Act is only good for 72 hours. Did they commit him?”

I don’t know that we know yet: “Lighthouse Point police made the request on March 14, one week after they were called to conduct a welfare check on the man...”

that is illegal.

Not sure what you refer to; could it be my prediction of what the school board might do next?

If so, the lack of authority of the school board to punish a student and his taxpayer parents for private behavior unrelated to the school did not appear to bother them at all. It is quite difficult to imagine on what reasonable grounds they thought they had such authority.

If unchallenged, what could make anyone believe they would not reach further? To extend that line of thought, what about an Obama appointed local judge deciding the case. What if it next went to the USSC who recently decided in a 5/4 decision we could have guns in our homes?

"As to not posting on social media, where does it stop."

I agree. We need to be very clear about one thing: leftism is nihilism, they don't want to make a better world, they want to destroy it.

The new Juden. The only thing missing is the school district requiring the students to wear a yellow star that says "Gun Owner"

That is a great idea! Not just for students, but for all conservatives. The yellow star sewed on the arm of clothing to point to the first amendment.

By the school’s definition, my son with his Scout troop at a shooting day per the NRA safe training program is a violation of school policies.
Though the fact he was learning how to shoot under supervision of NRA trained staff, his father, and probably a few off-duty cops is irrelevant.

Truth be told I got the idea from a gun show at the Cow Palace in Daly City just south of San Francisco several years ago. Several patrons were sporting a large yellow 6 pointed star star that instead of saying “Jude” said “Gun Owner”

There were TV camera crews covering the event(gun show). They turned their cameras off when someone with the star showed up. Of course this never made the news. Go figure.

Can’t the kids just start homeschooling themselves and then take their GED and move onto Community college courses? This would be a big thumb in the eye of the ISD.

Here it is. Get out of school sooner.
