Hard not to agree with you. Sessions, unless he’s secretly doing some off the wall stuff and is about to drop the hammer, has been an utter disappointment. Another example of the ‘brave politician standing on principles’, when they have political cover and their statements don’t matter, being shown for who they really are, all talk.
Nice pick with Pruitt. I think he’d go thru the DOJ like Ragnar Lothbrok, which would be nice. I was always kind of hoping that Greg Abbott would get a look, but I think he’s destined for 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

Trump’s “dissatisfaction is for show. It is part of the silks and doves. Were he really dissatisfied Sessions would be long gone. Think about how rapid the turnover has been. When a man’s task is accomplished his contract is up and he leaves to be replaced byone whose talents are more appropriate to the new focus. Sessions is still there. His talents are serving the cause ably and quietly. With all the ragging by Trump the left tends to feel defensive about Sessions and will be blindsided by things coming up, things they can see or could see if their attention were not diverted by the prestidigitation. The left cannot refrain from putting all their reactive ire and attention to the obnoxious things Trump says. Sessions et al get their jobs done without the fire falling around them.
You can like who you will but if you believe Sessions is inert or incompetent then you must believe that Trump is incompetent at being able to judge the capacities and performance of his people. How could Trump have made so much headway were he that incompetent? Why would you like a president you seem to think to be incompetent? Do you think Sessions keeps his job because he is blackmailing DJT? You have to think something like that in order to split Trump from Sessiona. Or you are just emoting liberally.
The fact that he has not fired Sessions tells me he is pleased with his performance. There is no way around that. Those who believe that Sessions is napping on the job (and getting away with it) are saying that Trump is an incompetent leader.

Then how is it you think Trump cannot rectify a terrible choi8ce? He is quick to replace others when their tasks are completed. Why would he stick with Sessions? I am always amazed how at the shallowness of sight among so many people who should know better. Trump operates behind a dazzle of words that keep the Left in a tremendous Tizzy. He has deflected hard from all the things he is accomplishing that would be much harder to get done were the press and the Republicans and Democrats focused on what he does rather than on the “stupid” things he says. He is the finest professional at Getting Their Goats and keeping their minds and tongues unproductively occupied.
