REPORT: FBI Official Andrew McCabe Begging Not To Fired In Last Minute Plea
The Gateway Pundit ^ | March 15, 2018 | Joshua Caplan

FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe faces the possibility of being fired after an internal review recommended he be terminated.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions is considering a recommendation to fire former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe and could order his ouster this week, shortly before Mr. McCabe’s expected retirement, according to a person familiar with the matter. Mr. McCabe allegedly wasn’t forthcoming with investigators probing the disclosure of information to a Wall Street Journal reporter for an October 2016 story about an inquiry into the Clinton Foundation, said the person. Mr. McCabe left his post in January after he was told to step aside, but had been expected to take leftover vacation time until he was eligible to retire this month after a decades long career with the agency. A spokeswoman for Mr. Sessions said in a statement that the Justice Department “follows a prescribed process by which an employee may be terminated,” and said she had “no personnel announcements at this time.”

n a last-ditch effort, McCabe will meet with Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein’s staff Thursday to appeal the FBI’s recommendation for Sessions to fire him, the Wall Street Journal‘s Del Quentin Wilber reports.

He can fight it. But, I’m thinking there’s enough dirt on him to send him home, broke. It’s hard to fight the Feds when they’re lawyers get paid no matter what. It’s another thing to have to pay out of pocket and this defense isn’t going to come cheap.

If his former colleagues are recommending this, now, then he is one world class, arrogant POS and they’re getting some payback. And, whatever Horowitz told them, must be some pretty hardcore stuff.

Have Mercy on the Criminal
Elton John

Have you heard the dogs at night
Somewhere on the hill
Chasing some poor criminal
And I guess they’re out to kill

Oh there must be shackles on his feet
And mother in his eyes
Stumbling through the devil-dark
With the hound pack in full cry

Have mercy on the criminal
Who is running from the law
Are you blind to the winds of change
Don’t you hear him any more

Praying Lord you got to help me
I am never gonna sin again
Just take these chains from around my legs
Sweet Jesus I’ll be your friend

Now have you ever seen the white teeth gleam
While you lie on a cold damp ground
You’re taking in the face of a rifle butt
While the wardens hold you down

And you’ve never seen a friend in years
Oh it turns your heart to stone
You jump the walls and the dogs run free
And the grave’s gonna be your home

Oh, have mercy on the criminal
Who is running from the law
Are you blind to the winds of change
Don’t you hear him any more

Praying Lord you got to help me
I am never gonna sin again
Just take these chains from around my legs, ooh
Sweet Jesus I’ll be your friend

Ooh, have mercy on the criminal
Who is running from the law
Are you blind to the winds of change
Don’t you hear him any more

Praying Lord you got to help me
I am never gonna sin again
Just take these chains from around my legs
Sweet Jesus I’ll be your friend

Songwriters: Bernie Taupin / Elton John

He has to promise not to go on any Sunday morning news programs or give any interviews to other news outlets for his first month of retirement. And he has too dedicate his book to “My pal and best friend forever, Jeff Sessions, without whom none of this would have possible...”

‘McCabe’s head is on the chopping block for allegedly not being forthcoming with US investigators ‘

is that the same thing as lying to the FBI ? or is it a non-crime, honest mistake, that any other citizen could do and get away with Scott-Free?

[Why punish his family by yanking his retirement at the last minute? That seems more like revenge than justice.]

In this case there won’t be any justice UNLESS there’s revenge!

True, but that’ll be tough for him to do. He’s going to have to hire someone good. And they aren’t going to be cheap. Won’t take long for something to come out that someone is paying the bills. Who that might be? Who knows?

Why is this so hard. If he broke the law he should be fired.

Forget fired: PROSECUTED.

Honorable AG Jefferson B. Sessions
U.S. Department of Justice

Sir,

Letting this continue, and the rest, is unacceptable conduct.
America want justice, and justice delayed
is justice DENIED.

-- I bet he flips to protect his retirement. --

No deal. An objective oversight body, in the department, recommended termination. The process no doubt allows the subject to rebut and plead his cae, as it should be. Let the procedure work.

As for making a deal, McCabe faces legal jeopardy, and that might be mitigated with cooperation.

Agreed. I got $10 bucks that says McCabe walks away unscathed... just like Lois Lerner. Make that $20 bucks.

Doesn’t matter. Sessions may not be around much longer anyway. If Sessions doesn’t fire him I suspect his successor will.

Sessions will say it wouldn’t be right to take away his retirement for something he did at the very end of his career thus ignoring all of his honorable service.

Sessions will do the right thing. It may well not appear to you to be the right thing at the moment. He is doing what Trump wants him to do else he would not still be there. If you think Sessions is incompetent then you necessarily think that Trump is incompetent. Who says A must say B.

Would it affect his pension if they just gave him a huge demotion?

No, because retirement is based on highest 3 years of pay. I didn't think he would get dinged all that much if he got fired. Snooping around a bit, what may happen if he gets fired is he loses medical coverage and wont receive his pension annuity until age 62.

If he caused this damage to the integrity of our justice system, fire him now. Then try him.

Why does McCabe need a pension when he will be in jail?
Don’t they provide meals and a bed in jail?
