NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch said Thursday morning at CPAC that she wouldn't have been able to exit last night's town hall on the Parkland, Fla. school shooting if she didn't have a security detail. Loesch faced off with students who survived the shooting at a CNN-hosted forum.
"I want to make this super obvious point," Loesch said. "The government has proven that they cannot keep you safe. And yet, some people want all of us to disarm. You heard that town hall last night. They cheered the confiscation of firearms. And it was over 5,000 people."
"I had to have a security detail to get out," she said of the Sunrise, Fla. event. "I wouldn't be able to exit that if I didn't have a private security detail. There were people rushing the stage and screaming burn her. And I came there to talk solutions and I still am going to continue that conversation on solutions as the NRA has been doing since before I was alive."
Loesch said the people who call Trump a tyrant are the same people who want the president to confiscate weapons.
"The government can't keep you safe and some people want us to give up our firearms and rely solely upon the protection of the same government that's already failed us numerous times to keep us safe. And then they also call Trump a tyrant but they say they want the president to also confiscate our firearms? Try to figure that one out," Loesch said.

If the crowd rushed the stage, even without security, my money would be on her.

the history of Godless leftwing totalitarianism has always been to eliminate people who disagree with them and commit mass murder on a grand scale to protect itself from any dissention.. the left in this country would do it to us if they could get away with it,, don’t doubt it
Dana Loesch showed class and talked responsible citizen options and reactions to this tragedy. Jake Tapper is devoid of reason and I am convinced he is simply evil as is his hand picked liberal mob and the propagandist group supporting and scripting them. Jake Tapper is detestable slime.
And don't forget that Hippo Hips Oprah and her Hollywood Socialists are sponsoring this mob on a visit to DC. Our tax dollars will pay for the added security of keeping this group of truants missing classes which they sorely need in civics and American history.

And the sad part of it is the organizations calling for disarming of the US citizens are staffed by large numbers of Secular Progressive Jews (ACLU and SPLC come to mind). Guess they’ve forgotten about the Holocaust!
These “children” want to play big boy games, then they should be treated like big boys....
Their behavior at this “summit” remind me why we have a “kids” table at Holidays....
Just as important, their current spokeperson's ("the children") come from a generation that eats Tide Pods and can't tell the difference between male and female.

Who didn’t know Loesch’s big mouth, hate filled persona, and that neon chip she carries around on her shoulder might eventually cause her some trouble some day? Stupid is as stupid does.
She lives in black and it very well suits her dark aura and spit bitter tone. A rabid bat dressed in black is isn’t always and everywhere the best mouthpiece to muscle into an emotional event raw from tragedy.
