Two clips from this afternoon’s unusual, sometimes riveting confab between Trump and Pence and shooting victims, some from Stoneman Douglas High School. It’s not often POTUS gets some respect from the media, particularly when the topic involves guns, but lo and behold:

I also heard one of the students repeating the lie someone on CNN said he was able to buy an AR15 in 15 minutes with an expired ID. Turns out that was a lie. The guy walked into a gun store, the clerk ran thru all the requirements, etc., and the CNN guy said he had changed his mind. NO SALE took place, but that didn’t stop the guy from going on CNN and saying that it did, but he did acknowledge later that he had just left the store, and no sale was made.
These kids are a perfect example of what our public schools are turning out.
Its all being laid out in front of us why the left has been indoctrinating our kids. They don’t feel anything for a constitution they know nothing about.
Australians, Canadians, and Brits are subjects of the crown. Subjects!
Americans are citizens of a republic.
When guns are banned, one becomes a subject.
The government intends to make all gun owners "criminals." It's coming, the only question is - will we fight or meekly surrender.

First AR15’s are not weapons of war. M-4 automatics are. You and I can’t buy one. That should have been made clear.

You can easily confiscate guns,but once seized,it is hard to verify if guns from the black market have replaced them. Pesky 4th Amendment and all that - probable cause wise. Need warrant.
Australia doesn’t have that problem. No need for warrant if they have mere SUSPICION that you have guns.
Problem with confiscation is also that pesky 4th Amendment. A lot of guns are unregistered (mine are on the bottom of the ocean after that boating accident). So what are you going to do? Take that away also in the search for all the guns?
Not necessarily a gun law, but murder is against the law and Cruz and others have broken it.
I don't think laws are the answer.

We need a testing ground for gun laws. Aha! How about Chicago, the murder capital of the world. Got an idea for a gun law? Let Chicago try it and leave the rest of us alone.
