Yup. In my state, a BMF Activator can't be purchased since it effectively turns a semi-auto into something effectively very close to full auto. I accept that and will live within the law. If we'd ever get into a shooting civil war though, when the law has broken down, you can bet I'd figure out a way to craft one of my own.

We're a nation of laws. Under the law, we've given the power to law enforcement to arrest people at times. Somebody coming to rape or murder is never acting within the law. That is the difference.
You weren't saying you'd shoot someone attempting to rape or murder your grandchildren. You said you'd shoot somebody who was following a legal order to disarm you.

If an arrest warrant has been signed off on by a judge, they aren't going to allow you to carry a firearm into the police station. Disarming you is lawful once the judiciary has approved it, at the very least.
Feel free to test your theory by trying to walk into a courtroom openly carrying a loaded firearm. Tell them it isn't lawful for them to disarm you as you force your way into the courtroom.
