Assault Behavior Is Not a Weapon

f you have one of those wi-fi video doorbells, your home is more secure than Marjory Stoneman High School in Parkland, Florida was when the evil creature called Nikolas Cruz entered to begin his murder spree. With all the "we must do something" hand-wringing we have seen before, the simple truth is that such a simple bit of modern technology might have prevented or mitigated this tragedy.

Again, there were warning signs, enough red flags to have a parade in Moscow. Many did see things and say things, as the mantra goes, but the FBI, which was notified of the killer's intention posted on social media, was busy chasing Russians and fighting Trump. The kids in the high school expected that one day the killer, who was expelled, would return. Yet the doors were not secured. In a society awash with cameras and surveillance, no one saw him walking in with a gas mask, smoke grenades, and a weapon.

The FBI is only useful to the Deep State.

My children’s school has a video doorbell.

It also has morning arrivals, afternoon dismissals, fire drills, games, student performances, outdoor team practices.

There will always be vulnerable time periods.

There is no central government answer to this problem. Looking for a central government answer, in fact, would only make it worse.

The answer is LOCAL, as local as you can get.

Many of people, especially teachers, saw the problems this kid had, and washed their hands of it, or felt they lacked the power, or their hands were tied - specifically be centralized government rules, liability, etc.... That’s how American sheep are now trained.

So they “called the FBI.” In effect, ignored it.

See something, say something. Say something, do something? Someone was aware of the kid.

The talk shows and the media are busy blaming guns and milking the incident shifting the blame when they should be furthering the need for student security.

One who comes to mind is John Howell of am890 WLS Chicago. Which prompted the inspiration for the following observations who got it so wrong left me screaming at my radio.

In this facilities case, their security system should be brought to public discussion particularly if this school was a so called “gun free zone” .Which prohibited security from having guns. Plus examine records reporting how student altercations and petty thefts which are bound to occur were being dealt with.

Because in an educational unit this size it’s pretty clear their security system failed. In a secure system Cruz would have never gotten inside.

Wait until someone figures out how to put C4 on a drone and detonate it. Wait a minute, it’s been done.

OK...so during Obama’s first two years as president, he had a Democrat majority in the House and the Senate. A filibuster proof majority in both houses.

This means that the Democrats could have passed whatever law they wanted. They could have easily pass more gun control laws had they really wanted to.

But...getting these issues solved through legislation means they can no longer use the issue as a club to beat up Republicans come election time. The “issue” is more politically useful to Democrats than a solution to the issue. Democrats what to talk about the issue, but make not mistake, they don’t want to solve the issue.

Democrats, you had your chance, you chose not to, so quit blaming Republicans.
