Comey Unhinged -- for Good Reason

The Nunes Memo confirms that the basis for the FISA warrants to spy on Trump associates was the Steele “dossier,” paid for by the DNC and Hillary Clinton. The Memo reveals that the FBI also paid for it. The persons who signed the FISA applications are James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Sally Yates, Rod Rosenstein, and Dana Boente. The Memo confirms that the political origins of the Steele Dossier, that it was bought and paid for by Hillary and the DNC, were not disclosed to the FISA court.

The legal standard for a search warrant was stated by the Supreme Court in Aguilar v. Texas, 378 U.S. 108 (164). The standard to apply when the facts necessary for probable cause are based on an informant and not the direct knowledge of the officer swearing the affidavit for probable cause is as follows:

“Although an affidavit supporting a search warrant may be based on hearsay information and need not reflect the direct personal observations of the affiant, the magistrate must be informed of some of the underlying circumstances relied on by the person providing the information and some of the underlying circumstances from which the affiant concluded that the informant, whose identity was not disclosed, was creditable or his information reliable.”

This is significant because when applying for a warrant based on information from an informant, the applicant must state why the informant is reliable. In this case, the informant is Steele. In the typical case, the applicant states that the informant has provided reliable information in the past, or that the informant’s information has been verified and it must state how it was verified. The FISA application should have informed the Court why Steele is credible.

The information from Steele was deemed reliable because the Federal Bureau of Matters said it was.

All 5 of these bums should be fired immediately and incarcerated. They should also be made to reimburse the U.S. taxpayers for the monies they wasted on this nonsense.

He admitted under oath that he leaked records created on his government computer to his friend (now lawyer) asking or knowing it would be transmitted to the NY Times. This is a clear violation of Title 18, Section 641. The records belonged to the government and were not his to take or leak to the media.

NYT, WaPo, La Times, CNN, NBC, MSNBC, etc ... are Comeys’ Depends.

He and his coconspirators Rosenstein, Yates, Strzok, Page, et al. are no more worried than the criminals Holder, Lerner and Koskinen.

Does the point you have stated not indicate that he, like other “resistors,” had full confidence that the President would be driven out of office? Else, why risk the consequences of his action?

...Dishonest and misleading memo wrecked the House intel committee, destroyed trust...

No. In reality, Dishonest and misleading information on the search warrant intentionally given by the FBI and the DOJ Wrecked the
“evidence” gained through the illegal warrant.
A motion to suppress would be the route in any criminal proceeding arguing “fruit of the poisonous tree, the search warrant.

A. Comey has a long history of fixing things Clintoon.

B. Comey stands in front of the mirror all day long, asking:

“Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the most ethical Weasel of them all?”

Here’s something I’m not clear on:

Assume for a minute that the dossier is true. (It isn’t. but just assume). How is it that a dossier that smears Trump is used to get a warrant to investigate Page????

If the FBI/FISA court has information that says your friend/acquaintance/business associate is skeevy, does that give them the right to wiretap you??

Also, since when is being skeevy a crime? Far more pervy things are discussed and shown on tv every night. Are all the tv writers going to be investigated now? (Yeah, I think a lot of them should be.)

These people are running the great lie bluff, believing that no D.C. Politician has the guts to demand resignations or bring charges against the media onslaught.

In other words, they are deathly afraid of not being liked, being put out of ‘the club’, or not being reelected and being relegated to the ‘land of the misfit politicians’.

The only thing they fear more than the above is We The People. We must stand with President Trump to defend our Nation and let these people know our resolve. We must flood Congress with message traffic and everywhere they see the light of day they must see us standing in the gap. We must become as Spartans Standing with the President until we MAGA!

Possibly, but I believe he had grown used to his newfound powers after his supplanting DOJ in the email investigation and he did not believe he was accountable to anyone.

Just my .02

There is a fine line in there somewhere that got crossed.

Even it was true, which of course its not, show me where its against the law to hire two girls to piss on a bed in a hotel room in a foreign country.

I find it more likely that if he discovered Obama stayed there he would have the hotel staff take the bed and burn it, replace it with a brand new one and he would tip them handsomely.

I think the OIG - a nonpolitical entity or as close as one can get in our government - is likely looking into many things and I imagine this is on the list.

My personal opinion is that Trump wants to focus on implementing his agenda and looking forward. If he gets tired of the incessant nipping at his heels by the MSM and the bureaucracy they may not like the result because he will fight.

It should be very telling that Democrats as well as more than a few Republicans found that sordid tale plausible. The only way they could fail to see how ludicrous it was, is that they’re far too familiar with similar behavior themselves.
