Marianne Williamson walked to the middle of the stage, paused for a second, then she asked all the black people to stand.
The New York Times best-selling author, internationally known spiritual teacher and native Houstonian was in town recently for her "Love America Tour" at Unity of Houston. She urged the 200 of us from our seats. She then instructed a white person to hold the hand of a black person standing.
A white woman and a teenage girl who looked to be mother and daughter in the row behind me took my hand and arm.
Williamson then told the white people to repeat after her. She began with, "I apologize ... ."

Proclaiming white people guilty and morally inferior and needing to apologize. From what I can see this fits the dictionary definition of racism.
Racism--the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race (in this case guilt), especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races. (in this case whites are inferior)
Someone needs to tell New Age Guru Marianne that’s she’s white.
So the Hating On Whites game won’t work.
All white people should have flipped her the bird and walked out at that point.
I’d walk out. If I was fool enough to be there in the first place.
this is a loser issue as far as voters go, however it’s good to pay attention to these wackos because they’re the ones teaching and pushing this kind of thing in the media.

Being white makes her virtue signalling all the more impressive to her fellow liberals. But yeah, sometiomes whites like her are devoured by the haters they help create and when that happens its a schadenfruede moment.

I’ve been pretty good at admitting when I’m wrong. I am probably the first person I know of that will say “I was wrong” quickly, when I see that I am.
But I’m not going to apologize for something I didn’t do, let alone something I was even alive for.
Well, ... I guess the answer for me is Ginger then.
She stole that from Oprah who many years ago had the white folk in her audience stand and apologize to blacks for slavery.

I’ve humorously proposed that we go to another nickname to describe what we know as white success: redneck. Rednecks come in many colors: Yellow, red, tan, white, and black. But to a one they all stand proud and tall. They’re the strength of this country’s back.
When I was in high school, the few white kids we had were treated horribly. I felt so bad for them. When do they get their apology?
They did: with the Civil War. To the extent that some held a grudge afterwards, that is what we know as our Democrats today, and switching their tack from penalties to bribery didn’t change the contempt that they had for black people.
Sometimes black people get it, like our own Windflier.
I never perpetrated any evils against black people. (But I am considering breaking my foot off in Marianne Williamson's lily-white a**.)

I will admit when I do something wrong, and I will apologize when I am wrong. I am not sorry or responsible for things that happened a century or more before I was born, committed by people I am not even related to...and even if a direct great great grandfather committed atrocities that would make Vlad the Impaler wretch, even then that would have zero to do with me. F off! My conscience is crystal clear

I’m sick of this White guilt parade. It is perpetuated by people with absolutely no sense of history, the frontier, building a country out of the wilderness, and the realities of Africa.
I don’t ask Blacks to collectively apologize for the friend I had who was murdered by a Black teen or apologize for the friend who was shot in the face by a Black teen and survived with endless hours in the dental surgeons chair.
