Kim Jong-un says he has a ‘nuclear launch button’ on his desk in threat to America

KIM Jong-un has brought in the new year with an alarming escalation in his threats against the rest of the world.

During a televised New Year’s Day speech, the dictator said the US would never be able to start a war with the rogue nation after it had developed the ability to hit all of the American mainland with its nuclear weapons.

“The entire United States is within range of our nuclear weapons, and a nuclear button is always on my desk. This is reality, not a threat,” Kim said.

The speech is being watched closely, as Kim Jong-un followed up on promises he made during his 2017 New Year’s Day address, when he vowed to speed up the country’s nuclear weapons development.

“Speaking of which, why was a desk lamp on his desk? A desk lamp in broad daylight at an outdoor event? Was it supposed to give a better visual?”

My thoughts too...unless he sits out there after dark.

Kim is begging to be attacked. Why?

Because China said that if the US shoots first, they would get involved in the fight (helping NK). If NK shoots first, China will remain neutral.

Both the US and NK want the other side to fire the first shot.

Anyway, Trump's squeezing the regime effectively and I think the Kim problem will be resolved internally before he can start any war.

That’s his belly button on his desk. He’s so fat that he couldn’t see it so he had it cut out and put on a Launch Button on his desk. He thinks he’s Hillary Clinton with those button thingies.

Definitely a putz. Had to deal with someone very similar. Know the mindset. Jackazz also fits. They will back off when confronted and then come back just like before the confrontation. You cannot deal with em. Best to not even water the Chia Pet in the first place.

He has, what, six warheads? Ten? Enough to piss the US off enough for a counterstrike, and for China to throw Kim and his unfortunate country to the wolves and wish them bon apetite.

He pushes the button and a buzzer sounds in his secretary’s office. She grabs a pre-written set of instructions and runs it down the hall to an aid who reads it, gets some scribes to make the necessary copies and then dispatches the copies via bicycle couriers......(it is a laborious process...)

“The main problem isn’t his nukes, its his artillery within range of seoul.”

If nukes aren’t a problem, let’s just blockade his harbors and warn off any air traffic. Time for a seige and dare him to pop off with artillery.

But I suspect that nukes are something of a problem.

I found this post to be logical:

Cementjungle:

“Kim is begging to be attacked. Why? Because China said that if the US shoots first, they would get involved in the fight (helping NK). If NK shoots first, China will remain neutral.

“Both the US and NK want the other side to fire the first shot.”

[unquote]
