The interesting thing to me is the number of people here who have changed their tune and are immediately spouting off about what a loser Judge Moore is. It took a massive effort from both sides of the aisle with a coordinated smear campaign, tens of millions of dollars, and what appears to be out and out vote fraud to bring him down.
The good thing is that situations like this cause people to let their guard down and show their true colors. Even this forum has a whole lot of people who are as easily manipulated as a herd of sheep only with nasty attitudes.
Where are all of Judge Moore’s accusers today? Yeah, nowhere to be found as we all suspected. Since the Democrats were successful in sliming Roy Moore with sexual harrasment allegations we’ll see more of it next year too. If Rush refers to the MSM as the Drive-by media then we need to start calling Gloria Allred and the long trail of “accusers” that are being prepped and ready to go for next year as the Drive-by Harassment Unit!
As a guy that had my 17 year old girlfriend (when I was the same age), stolen by a 35 year old , I personally think all men that date teenagers are (insert not pleasant diatribe here).
Obviously it takes two, but you guys need to stick to your own frickin age pool.
You can spin it all you want, but if a 30 something year old man was hanging around your teen daughter, you would not be all sunshine and flowers about it. She isnt a “women”, she is just a teenager you wont get arrested for sleeping with.
Frankly it is gross. At my age, I wouldn’t dream of even associating with a teenager as even a friend.
But again tha’s just me.
LOL, I used the analogy from the movie "Wall Street"
Begining:
"I knew the minute I laid eyes on you, you had what it takes, Bud."
End:
"The minute I laid eyes on you, I knew you were no good."
I think it is more that people got behind the guy, because he was the candidate. They wanted to keep the seat, even with personal reservations or disagreements in things he did in his capacity as judge.
Most people thought the charges of wrongdoing were bogus, but they still saw him as creepy-ish.
In this situation they had plenty of help from the Republican side of the aisle. This situation shows the lengths to which Republicans are willing to go to help defeat a conservative outsider.
Well of course they did! That is the primary goal of a smear campaign made up of unproven allegations... make the sheeple feel like the target of the allegations is “creepy-ish”.
Thank you again for pointing out the improbable anomalies in the vote tally numbers. This last minute ruling from the Alabama Supreme Court allowing digital voting records to be immediately destroyed is suspicious and hints of collusion on a large scale as well.
Nastiness is getting to be endemic in every form of social media. It is sad, but unfortunately must be expected here as well.
Picking which hill to die on. This one isn’t it.
I’m not that surprised by the Jefferson County totals. Jones has had problems there for a while. Heck, he lost my precinct in 2012, when Romney got 70% of the precinct’s vote.
>>>This last minute ruling from the Alabama Supreme Court allowing digital voting records to be immediately destroyed is suspicious and hints of collusion on a large scale as well.
What do you think the digital images of the ballots will show that cannot be captured by the actual paper ballots that are retained for 22 months?
>>>Jones has had problems there for a while.
Correction - Moore lost, not Jones.
Because despite thinking Moore was a loser, most of us here still wanted him to join the Senate where he would do his part to pass President Trumps agenda. Criticizing Moore during the race wouldve been no help. Now that the race has ended disastrously, its important to debrief how the race was lost, the primary reason being Moore himself.
We cant repeat these mistakes.
I believe that the primary point is that destroying the digital records increases the expense and thus the likelihood of a recount. Why do you think that the digital copies should be destroyed?
I meant to say...
I believe that the primary point is that destroying the digital records increases the expense and thus decreases the likelihood of a recount.
In most cases in a close race the Democrats like being able to count the ballots over and over and over again until they get the results that they want. This happened twice in our governors race in Washington. Votes were literally manufactured after the election. If digital copies of the votes actually cast existed... it would have made it more difficult for this type of fraud to have been perpetrated.
In the special election in Alabama for some odd reason it was decided at the last minute that the authorities wanted to make it more difficult and expensive to do a recount and also eliminate one of the safety mechanisms built into their new voting system. The most likely explanation is that this was not done on a whim.
Thursday Dec14, 2017, my aunt in Sylacauga, Alabama, say they’re finding fraud everywhere in that election, and that NOT ONE military vote was counted at city hall.
Unfortunately, the likelihood of fraud often increases when new technology is implemented. In this instance both Democrats and the establishment Republicans in other words those who are in charge of safeguarding the sanctity of the election both wanted Judge Moore to lose. They hit him from every side with every dirty tactic imaginable.
Judge Moore is a good and decent man; he was a good candidate. Yet even in this discussion and others on this forum we have many who are now dragging his name through the mud. It demonstrates to me the power of the elite and their ability to influence even those who believe that they are independent thinking conservatives.
Thank you Yosemitest for sharing what you have observed in this election and shedding light on the situation. Many others even here... immediately stuck their heads up where the sun doesn’t shine and have no desire to explore the obvious possibility that once again the fraudsters have stolen another election from the rightful winner.
