DEMOCRATS HAVE MASSIVE TURNOUT IN 2017 SPECIAL ELECTION–
In 2016 Republican Donald Trump won Alabama with 62% of the vote.
Trump had 1,318,255 votes
Hillary had 729,547 votes
On Tuesday night Democrat Doug Jones defeated Republican Roy Moore in the Alabama special election for US senate.
In 2017 Democrat Doug Jones won the Alabama senate seat with 49.9% of the vote to 48.4% of the vote.
Democrat Doug Jones had 671,151 votes
Republican Roy Moore had 650,436 votes

Sure enough. My son was one of those who couldn’t be bothered to vote absentee or get to the polls on time. And I’m sure there were HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of other Republican voters who couldn’t be bothered. Well, we’re a Democrat state now. They OWN us.
I guess the good folks of Alabama just say “meh” when the GOPee, media, and a bunch of known liars all flip the bird at them - even when the POTUS they came out in droves to elect just a year earlier says he needs them to turn out and vote for Moore, and when the above 3 conspirators plan to go after Trump the same way they went after Moore if it turns out to be effective. I guess the vote for Trump a year earlier was just an anomaly, since they really didn’t give a rip for what Trump needs, in order to keep his promises that they supposedly found so appealing just a year ago.
Funny, I thought better of Alabamans than that. I guess they’re just a bunch of wet noodles after all.

I have to tell you, I REALLY, REALLY question whether this nation is able to be preserved, and whether it is worth the sacrifices that a lot of us have made - if it means so piddly little to the people we’re fighting for. I am disgusted.

Condescension is not much of a statement.
I want to find out exactly why the GOPee asked a democrat judge to allow the electronic voting records to be destroyed immediately, when there were already 2 MAJOR reasons to insist that they be available for audit: 1) the CIA reporting that “Russians” had hacked the voter database; and 2) this was the first time electronic voting had been used, and electronic systems have a history of glitches that need to be ironed out.
This whole thing smells like a set-up, and it would be just like both the GOPe and dems to use something like this to drive a wedge between conservatives like you, and the rest of the country which now thinks that AL “conservatives” are wet noodles, as described on this thread by the guy I just responded to.
Right now I am so spitting mad at the media, the GOPee, the deep state, the liars, Gloria Allred, etc.... that I’m about ready to just call the nation dead and stop even thinking about trying to defend her.
We HAVE to find a way to fight back effectively. I am praying earnestly every day for JUSTICE, and for the TRUTH to be revealed so that people like your son or any number of my own relatives who are slouching their way to slavery will WAKE THE HECK UP and realize what is happening.

They are saying the Dems had 92% of the 2016 turnout. In other words , they had almost as many people vote as voted for Hillary, while half the people who voted for Trump stayed home.
There are absolutely ZERO points for second place. I voted for Roy Moore, and he lost. We have a Demonrat to represent us now. Gun bans and more baby murder. Free stuff for the gibsmedats. Same as the Republicans.

Most depressing. As a subject of the People’s Republic of New, Jersey, I always looked up to free states like Alabama.

He would have easily won by 10 points if Mitch and the senate republicans hadn’t been campaigning against him telling folks to stay home.
No. Just like millions of millennials, he can’t be bothered to keep up with the news of the day. “Too depressing.” At least he is a hard-working self-supporting man, but he does not like politics, because he doesn’t think he has any control over it. I’m starting to see his point.

How many Christians stayed home rather than vote for Mormon Romney? Would you call them bigots?
Moore got the Evangelical vote, but turned off many non-Evangelical voters, plus a lot of women. It looks like half the people who came out for Trump stayed home this week.
