Roy Moore unwilling to concede: ‘It’s not over’

GOP Alabama Senate Candidate Roy Moore refused to concede on Tuesday night and insisted more votes could still swing the race and save him from a stunning defeat to an underdog Democrat.

“When the vote is this close, that it’s not over,” he told supporters in Montgomery at his campaign rally shortly after Democrat Doug Jones already had been declared the winner by multiple news organizations and had given a televised victory speech.

With all precincts reporting, Jones had 49.9 percent and Moore 48.4 percent.

Moore quoted from scripture and told supporters to wait for all votes to come in – including provisional ballots and those cast by overseas military members.

“That’s what we’ve got to do, is wait on God and let this process play out,” Moore said. “But the votes are still coming in and we’re looking at that.”

So, how long do we stay this stupid?

As long as anyone currently alive is likely to live. Some conservative voters just believe some political questions are are such important moral questions that they cannot vote for any candidate who answers the questions incorrectly.

And there is nothing anyone can do about it.

And Doug Jones will be a lame duck senator the instant he's sworn in. If the Republicans field any sensible candidate in 2020, Jones will have no chance of being reelected.

Trump already proved that wrong.

I'm sorry, there was no excuse, the Alabama voters should not have believed a calculated political hit made up by the same left who wanted that asshole Jones to win.

At least you saw that, and understood it. Your neighbors obviously didn't.

a poor candidate should get the benfit of the doubt in red states, not a lying leftist.

Doing something about "it" is majorly important, or we will lose this war.

We adapt and understand our political enemies, or we die. Like I said, Trump proved that already.

Even FR stood up better for Moore than Moore himself did.

Oh, FR glazed him with powdered sugar, piped him with whipped cream, and placed a cherry on top.

(Ok, whoops, scratch that last. Lol)

Trump is crippled. He needs the Senate and the House to govern successfully. Which means hold your
nose and vote straight ticket GOP! Especially the Senate. Hold your nose and think Supreme Court!

Good advice.......and some tips from Vendome......

HAT TIP VENDOME The Moore race was a one off. Dems have been saying each race is "a referendum on Trump” and then they lose. They got one Senate win in ALA, so far.

However, in 2018 they have 25 House seats up, Republicans have 8 seats. Dems have, minimum, 11 at risk, while republicans have merely 1.

My guess is Dems lose 8; Republicans end up at a healthy 59 seat majority. (Unless every voter becomes a misogynist or a pedophile next year.)

In the meantime, Dems are blind-sided ----- they aren’t seeing what the other hand is doing b/c we are stacking up wins like cord wood. Judiciary being the biggest thus far….......which puts a huge crimp in their nasty agenda. (hat tip Vendome)

Sure, Sean may have been virtue signaling and he also may have planned his rep saving Moore questions inartfully. Sean ain’t perfect.

However, he went into the interview in full support of Moore. MOORE IS SUPPOSED TO BE SMART AND IN PURSUIT OF TRUTH AND JUSTICE. It is 100% Moore’s fault that Hannity couldn’t clear him of the allegations, because Hannity was trying to, Moore was lucky to get that interview.

And there are only two reasons for Moore to lie like he did about his “memory.” 1. He had some interactions in his 30s that were not pure or legal. 2. He is too dumb to have been a high court judge, deciding he could show up to Hannity and just act shifty and that would go over well.

And dats da name of dat tune. The deplorables of Alabama didn’t buy it.

Keep fighting, Roy.

They need to learn that spread untruths about someone doesn’t work.

This was an off timing election. That’s easier to bias left than the normal November one. Righties like routine. Lefties like what’s fresh and new.

Trump already proved that wrong.

It is impossible to disprove it. If some conservative voters object to a candidate on some moral issue, they will not vote for that candidate. But the moral issue can be fluid and will be decided by each individual voter as they assess each individual candidate.

Moore became objectionable to a significant number of conservative voters. Trump did not become objectionable to enough voters to lose his election.

And yet another nose cut off to spite the face of what Donald Trump labored so hard to bring forth.

Strange might not have needed your vote anyhow. He would have been the non-controversial GOP man who never counter-energized the left.

It seemed to me a Christian who was more formulaic than spiritual. And Jesus complained about that sort of thing to Jewish audiences.

As you Jewish folks might put it, Roy appeared to come a skosh shy of acting the mensch.

Neither would have Moore. He would have been primaried out in 2020.

And that would have been fine, as long as the Rats didn't get that seat.

I see zero harm in fighting this to the nth degree. If evidence does emerge that there was fraud, it will make the swamp look even worse.

Fight on, Judge Moore!
