GOP Alabama Senate Candidate Roy Moore refused to concede on Tuesday night and insisted more votes could still swing the race and save him from a stunning defeat to an underdog Democrat.
“When the vote is this close, that it’s not over,” he told supporters in Montgomery at his campaign rally shortly after Democrat Doug Jones already had been declared the winner by multiple news organizations and had given a televised victory speech.
With all precincts reporting, Jones had 49.9 percent and Moore 48.4 percent.
Moore quoted from scripture and told supporters to wait for all votes to come in – including provisional ballots and those cast by overseas military members.
“That’s what we’ve got to do, is wait on God and let this process play out,” Moore said. “But the votes are still coming in and we’re looking at that.”

I always thought it was creepy when songs were about 16 year old girls. However, I’d wager that a lot of 16 year old girls have had sex or heavy petting. Hell, in 8th grade I knew of at least 5 girls who did the “thing”! Having said that, I get a bad vibe when a 30 year old participates. I was hoping it wasn’t true in Moore’s case but I guess a lot of Deplorables felt otherwise.
I also found it strange that Moore didn’t cash the $50 check I sent him over a month ago. Maybe he simply has no leadership skills or business sense. I’m very disappointed.
My reaction to the Hannity interview was why in the heck were they doing this so soon? Sean was doing some virtue signalling and neither he nor Moore had thought the situation through very well. Didn’t watch because I sensed it would not help the cause of keeping the seat out of Dim hands. It didn’t.
I would check every last vote! We all know that a dimocrat has no problem lying, cheating and stealing their way into office. Has Alabama’s voter rolls been purged from dead, duplicate, illegal and out of state dimocrat voters? Do they show voter ID when they vote? I wouldn’t take their word for a minute.
If I lived a thousand lifetimes, I would not cast a vote for a Luther Strange.

I don’t agree, three Democrats Heitkamp, Manchin and Donnelly voted for Gorsuch while there weren’t any Republican defectors, and we still have Pence’s vote if needed for tie breakers. The loss of the seat hurts but it still can be overcome.

This is such crap. And we go through this after every election. If the Dems lose, its because the Republicans cheated!! Or the Russians hacked it!!! If the Republicans lose, it’s because the Dems stole it!!!

You have open and deliberate fraud and you just want to pretend nothing unusual is happening.
It will be the conservative women who voted against or chose not to vote at all for Moore that decided it for Jones. They will never admit it to their spouses or family...it would cause trouble in their households but they could not bring themselves to vote for Moore. Some 25 to 30 percent of the state electorate voted...what happened to the rest? I suspect many female abstentions amongst the conservatives.
Big mistake if Moore acts like Hillary and the never-Trump losers.
Moore lost. We need to learn from that history lesson so we don’t repeat it. Moore was a flawed candidate.
All humans are flawed. For 2018 do we seek the least flawed candidates? Or do we recognize the perfect candidate does not exist and find strategy and tactics that enable the candidate to win in spite of the flaws?
Regardless of how near perfect our candidate is, we can expect that candidate to be smeared by the other side. So regardless of how perfect, or how flawed, our candidate is, we need to develop strategy and tactics, image creation and messaging, that wins.

Pretty obvious there will be, there’s a demodummie in that race. Don’t forget how Franken got elected. Seems they found a bunch of “missing votes” in some car trunk hidden in the northern snow banks of Minnesota. What ever it takes!
