I know its out there, you can find several red neck creations on Youtube but its out there and classified, a railgun sniper rifle. Sure it probably uses a 20 pound battery pack but its out there.
Velocity?
Don’t blink....
Don’t believe it? Try searching info on it.
Wish we had one of those for the Thomas fire in Ventura County!
See here - unless the politicians get in the way the offer has been made.

“Tochnost” translates as “Exactness,” “Preciseness,” “Precision.”
Unless the weapon is mounted in a solid fixture, the man holding the trigger is the critical asset or liability in the shot routine, technology notwithstanding.
We should buy some of these they would be great just think how fast rioters would go home start fire boom its out and streets washed clean
General John Sedgwick: “They couldn’t hit an elephant at this distance.”
Some “old school” caliber rifles were built exceptionally well. I have a Weatherby in .308 Winchester that came with a three-shot test target that looks like two shots that overlap each other - until you look REAL close.
LOL
Scope for people that think 100 yards is a long shot.
By the time you enter all the data, your target is long gone.
Shooting starts to get fun at 600 yards.
With iron sights.
Drones will serve to cause many problems for snipers. Alternatively, see the US made CheyTac rifles. Russian....pffffft!
Thermal imaging sensors on any kind of flying platform cause severe problems for snipers. Once there appears to be a thermal signature, it is only a question of what comes down from above. ISIS snipers have attracted 500lb bombs, hellfire missiles, 30mm HE rounds, and artillery. The reason most of the buildings in Mosul are destroyed is because they were identified as ISIS firing positions.
Whatever kind of rifle you have, and whatever skill level you have, doesn't do you much good once you fire it if a remote sensor is watching you.
guess the author is not aware of the little rifle we build here in Texas that uses a computer to aim and compensate
Thanks.
Do you reload?
I started doing that when I was a kid. It has it’s advantages.
Yes, but currently don’t have my bench set up for rifle. I am relocating in the next 2-3 months and will set everything back up up after that.
Understand the issue. Mine is not very organized currently either.
Good luck on the move.
Substitute napalm for water & you may have something. Make all 3 rows of snipers wish they could quit smoking.
I thought of the napalm angle, but it would have to land for refills and you have the problem of a reliable igniter... scooping out of a lake takes only 14 seconds and then back to the scene for another soaking.
