Drones will serve to cause many problems for snipers. Alternatively, see the US made CheyTac rifles. Russian....pffffft!
Thermal imaging sensors on any kind of flying platform cause severe problems for snipers. Once there appears to be a thermal signature, it is only a question of what comes down from above. ISIS snipers have attracted 500lb bombs, hellfire missiles, 30mm HE rounds, and artillery. The reason most of the buildings in Mosul are destroyed is because they were identified as ISIS firing positions.
Whatever kind of rifle you have, and whatever skill level you have, doesn't do you much good once you fire it if a remote sensor is watching you.
