With the Olympics coming up imagine this:

A team from some godawful country wins a gold medal and the U.S. team finishes second. During the playing of the godawful country’s national anthem the U.S. team walks off the podium in protest.

The media would go ballistic! “This is the most rude and disrespectful thing ...” And, for once, they’d be right. Yet they support NFL players and others being rude and disrespectful toward the U.S., it’s veterans, police, and firefighters, not to mention millions of other patriotic Americans.
