Mueller just abruptly reversed course on his bail agreement with Manafort

Special counsel Robert Mueller has abruptly reversed course on a bail agreement his office struck with Paul Manafort's legal team last week that would have allowed him to be released from GPS monitoring.

Manafort evidently failed to tell the government that he was ghost-writing a draft op-ed about his work in Ukraine as late as November 30. He was working on it with "a longtime Russian colleague" who is "assessed to have ties to Russian intelligence," according to the special counsel's court filing.

That colleague was likely Konstantin Kilimnik, a Russian-Ukrainian citizen and longtime protege of Manafort who he had used as a liaison to Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska during the campaign.

The government said that the court had initially "admonished" Manafort's lawyer for making public statements to the press about the case and on November 8 had barred both "the parties and counsel from making statements that could interfere with" a fair trial.

Wait
In November 2017, almost 13 months after the election, Manafort is working on an article about Ukraine with a “ Russian-Ukrainian” colleague and this is evidence of... COLLUSION???
Mueller wants him in custody??
Beam me up. Scotty

“The problem is the rinos in office who are itching to start impeachment proceedings.”

Yep, that’s what I meant. But if Mueller keeps up this penny-ante stuff and spends a few million doing it, Trump will have justifiable cause.

You readers know what should be done with respect to funding, don't you? That is, if we don't see some big personnel turnover soon.

All three branches of government have been subjugated by infiltrating lawyers, most of them loyal, at least in some ways, to one branch. Those of you not aware of what that means can do a tiny bit of reading to find out.

It is time for Jeff Sessions to "Un-Recuse" Himself.
He only recused Himself on the insinuation that the Trump Campaign "Colluded with Russia" and we now know that there is NO evidence of collusion.
He needs to fire Muller and the @$$ who appointed him.
And more importantly, He needs to take back control of the Justice Department.

Or He should resign!

The goal seems to be to bankrupt as many people close to Trump as possible. In effect, they are ruined financially while being completely innocent.

The Left knows this. They’re doing their best to discourage anyone on the right from entering government service.

I am starting to wonder if it might be prudent to allow current or former administration officials who are accused of a bureaucratic ‘crimes’ (e.g. involving paperwork omissions, incorrect statements, or similar bureaucratic gotchas that do not involve money/bribes) while in the service of their duties to be allowed to ask for a court appointed attorney for their defense.

It would not help Manafort, but it would help people like Flynn and Scooter Libby who are/were bankrupted by malicious prosecutors.

I don’t have a problem with it.

It’s not right that people should be financially ruined for a gotcha offense related to a testimony mistake.

In my opinion Obamadork, Holder, Mueller, Comey, the Clintoons, Rosenstein and anybody involved in the Uranium One scan need to be tried and severely punished.

You reminded me of the Robert A. Heinlein book, "The Number of the Beast." The book is about a spaceship that travels to alternate universes.

In one alternate reality they called "Beulahland", they learned of this momentous event, the "Year They Hanged the Lawyers." It was a very slow, quiet and peaceful place where everybody got along with no strife or controversy.

So yeah, I know what should be done about a lot of things. Not that I think it will happen.

“COLLUSION???”

You need the new ‘collusion’ primer, that redefines the meaning of collusion.

For example - meeting secretly on the tarmac with the Attorney General who will decide if your wife co-collaborator is indicted = NOT Collusion.

Arranging for Russia to obtain control over 20% of the US’s uranium, and getting over $500,000 donated to your foundation shortly thereafter = NOT Collusion.

Ted Kennedy secretly contacting the USSR, promising Andropov he would arrange favorable media coverage of Andropov - including having Walter Cronkite, Barbara Walters, and Elon Raul fly to Moscow to do television interviews with Andropov, all with the intent of countering President Reagan and preventing his reelection = NOT Collusion.

Collaborating on an article about the Ukraine, with a Russian-Ukranian colleague, while you are not employed in public office and have no official government role = Collusion.

It's absurd.

You mean like Robert Mueller leaking details of the case to the news media?

What a clown show. If Mueller was a TV detective, he’d be Columbozo. “Uhh huh hey, kids! There’s just one more thing!”

Somehow the crime of “unmasking” by the Obama regime seems to have fallen off the radar.

Look, Russian dressing is just ketchup and mayonnaise, maybe with some condiments, so it is really French and Italian.
