I love it when Leftists who have never been in business proclaim what businesses will create significant new employment. Yeah, that will end well. Clearly they werent paying attention during the Obama Administration to all the failed Federally subsidized renewable energy boondoggles.
If Democrats think organic farming and renewable energy will solve CT’s problems, let them try it. And yes, the wealthy will flee.
We cant treat Greenwich hedge fund managers better than we treat people who work every day for a living, Drew said
I guess hedge fund managers don’t work...
They should say they’ll be asking farmers to raise unicorns, it would be more realistic than anything else they said.
Joe Ganim? He was in jail for fraud when he was mayor of BridgePortAPotty the first time. He is ambitious - the Republican governor (John Rowland) wait to be governor until did went to jail.
Dan Drew, the Middletown mayor, is only got elected because of Leftleyan University (aka Wesleyan University) is in the town. Wesleyan University is not a liberal arts school, but a Liberal School, I think they outlawed College Republicans there). Middletown is a nice town, but it could make Northampton, Mass look conservative. 😀
The kook from Greenwich, I don't know anything about, so I can't comment. However, if she is from Greenwich she must be a rich elite, because 90% of Greenwich is mansions. The 'poor' section is CosCob and the homes there are not cheap.
“higher taxes for the states wealthiest residences is key to lessening poverty”
Something is omitted from this equation. That money will be taken from the producers, processed by the state, which takes a portion of it to pay for the process, and given to the non-productive individuals who will then become more unproductive because of the free money.
The productive people will become less productive because more of their money is being stolen, and they will go somewhere else.
This will lead to a bigger gap, which the left will propose to close by raising taxes on the “rich,” an exercise which will fail, which will lead to a bigger gap, which the left will propose to close .....
Repeat until revolution.
As if we need a convicted felon to replace the as-yet unconvicted felon Malloy.
After all, criminals are a major constituency of the Democratic Party. Ganim running for governor just removes any possible doubt.
Which turd is gonna win?
