Jonathan Harris, the mayor of West Hartford, forgot that some of the rich lives in his town, especially in those mansions on Avon Mountain.

Joe Ganim? He was in jail for fraud when he was mayor of BridgePortAPotty the first time. He is ambitious - the Republican governor (John Rowland) wait to be governor until did went to jail.

Dan Drew, the Middletown mayor, is only got elected because of Leftleyan University (aka Wesleyan University) is in the town. Wesleyan University is not a liberal arts school, but a Liberal School, I think they outlawed College Republicans there). Middletown is a nice town, but it could make Northampton, Mass look conservative. 😀

The kook from Greenwich, I don't know anything about, so I can't comment. However, if she is from Greenwich she must be a rich elite, because 90% of Greenwich is mansions. The 'poor' section is CosCob and the homes there are not cheap.

Something is omitted from this equation. That money will be taken from the producers, processed by the state, which takes a portion of it to pay for the process, and given to the non-productive individuals who will then become more unproductive because of the free money.
The productive people will become less productive because more of their money is being stolen, and they will go somewhere else.

This will lead to a bigger gap, which the left will propose to close by raising taxes on the “rich,” an exercise which will fail, which will lead to a bigger gap, which the left will propose to close .....

Repeat until revolution.

Malloy seems to have been an economic disaster for Connecticut, but the Democrats should not be allowed to get away with blaming it all on him. It's a blue state that has had poor economic and tax policy such that companies (e.g. GE and Pfizer) have left Connecticut to go to Massachusetts, of all places.
