**SNIP**

“You hear ‘coward’ and ‘stand up’ and ‘disgrace,’’ Vernon told the New York Post.

“It’s fine. As long as nobody comes on the field and touches me. You stay where you at, you’re going to be all right. They have a right. Oh yeah, I hear it all the time.”

And then there was the advice: “If they don’t like it, don’t come to the game.’’

And the fact is the fans may be doing exactly that.

Sadly I think Giants Stadium still sells out for every game. Nothing can come between some folks and their Sunday games.

The Giants are a huge $hit show right now. The NFL and the Giants have lost a ton of fans. The best football played at MetLife this year was the NJ High School state finals last night. Between McAdork, the Eli situation, this jerk Vernon who’s making $85M and the protests in general, the Giants are watching their generations loyal fan base evaporate at a record pace.

It’s understandable that the homo owners and conmissioner are weak in the face of their hired thugs, but what is not so understandable is how silent the players’s agents are. These guys and gals know for certain that their clients are damagaing their brand and their future income. And these agents have skin in the game because the failure of their nfl clients will hurt them financially. So these agents need to intervene.

He seems like he loves the negative attention.

He’s like Marcus Peterson, the Chief’s anthem skipper who stays in the locker room while it’s played - today when they melted down in the 4th quarter as usual, he threw a penalty flag into the stands and ran to the tunnel like a little girl before the game was over.

These people are deranged.

Goodell could have nipped this in the bud by pointing out the truth that nobody has freedom of speech on the job, that freedom of speech has nothing to do with being able to say or do whatever one wants on the job. Instead, they let this go on, and morons everywhere believe this is a freedom of speech issue.

Trump should not have made this about veterans, though. What these dolts are mad about is their delusion that blacks are oppressed here and cops are out to get them. If they get their precious prison reform done, there will be more crime in black neighborhoods as predators are let loose to continue to do what they do best - hurt people.

These players have no concern for the lost income of the people who work at stadiums selling refreshments, etc. Many of these people are no doubt hurting from the lower attendance at games. Multi-millionaire players obviously don’t care.

If I were the owner, he wouldn’t be doing that — becaue he’s be off the team.

That’s strange, isn’t it? You’d think self-preservation would kick in for the agents. I think most players have been coddled in a bubble for awhile, so any agent who speaks the truth may risk instantly being fired, especially since I assume almost all of them are white.

A good and talented agent should be able to talk some sense into a wayward player, reminding the player that he or she as the agent is looking out for the player’s best interest.

But you’re right about the bloated self-esteem these players have. They think they know it all. And thus they would likely fire a good agent if that agent does not submit to the player’s vanity.

the destruction of the NFL is like any riot in the African-American community. They destroy their neighborhoods and burn down the places that generate money....great job fellas.

NFL team owners, management and millionaire players seem to have forgotten that pro football is just a business and the product is entertainment.

And like any other business, when consumers decide they no longer want to pay for your product adjustments must be made.

The real fun will begin as these idiot kneelers go to renew their bloated contracts with teams that have shrinking revenue streams and negative cash flow thanks to the players themselves.

The mods just pulled a thread regarding the impending bankruptcy of the Jacksonville Jags.

Vegas needs to open up betting on which nfsmell team will be first to go belly up.

>> That Vernon has a big chip on his shoulder.

Exactly. And we already know of the caste that was raised to hate. But nonetheless, Vernon is correct to say: “If they don’t like it, don’t come to the game.”

In order, that which is most disturbing is the NFL commission, followed by the owners/management, the remaining fans, the advertisers, and finally the relatively few undeserving kneelers.

I imagine most are disgusted by the lack of response to the disregard of the Anthem’s value. Hell, it’s not a lack of response, but encouragement — encouragement primarily by the NFL commissioner. And still yet, that POS hasn’t been thrown to the curb where he belongs.
