You might remember ABC’s Brian Ross for previously making the absurd on-air claim that Colorado mass shooter James Holmes was a Tea Party member. He completely made up the story, and later apologized.
Well, today ABC News Brian Ross again appeared directly on ABC World News to break a story claiming that candidate Donald Trump told campaign adviser Michael Flynn to make contact with Russians.
Watch, and note specifically what Brian Ross reports:

Markets are primarily driven by two motives: fear & greed. With the DOW at its all time high (greed), investors are a pretty nervous bunch right now...kinda like a nervous herd of buffalo. It only takes the slightest “noise” (fear) to “stampede the entire herd” even if it’s just a rumor....doesn’t take much. Savvy investors try to protect themselves the best they can, but a “stampede” is a stampede.
It’s probably smart advice you have: do NOT put any faith in Wall Street....ever.

So incompetent! There is a world of difference between “candidate Trump” and “President-elect Trump” especially in this context.
I have long time friends who are Democrats but most of them are at least intellectually honest and more rigorous in their understanding than these reporters - and it is not their job to report news. These reporters are either much less intelligent than they think they are, so deeply partisan that they sloppily allow bias to seep into their reportage, on the take and deliberately report falsehoods, or all of the above.
I wonder who their audience must be? I gotta imagine that those old school Democrats must be incredibly frustrated. They have fools and clowns all around and really very few places to go to read truthful, intellectually challenging political reporting. Their entire agenda has been coopted by inanities like transgender bathrooms while they have been demoralized by this rise in sexual harrassment awareness and the humiliations of having defended the worst offenders for decades. And if I may say, the reason they chose to protect these people is because they have no real core principles other than the exercise of power, so they are forced to defend people who attain power rather than let their values determine who should be in thier leadership.

Technical and fundamental analysis have their place for sure....but neither one has been proven to be 100% totally reliable.
FWIW, I use both in my investing decisions, but neither one is flawless...wish they were...I’d be rich by now. :)
Like you, I hate it when a “stampede” is brought on by fear resulting from rumors and charlatans. As I stated, they should be totally held accountable for their actions. And it wouldn’t surprise me one bit if SOROS had a hand in it.....he was probably sitting on a bunch of near money PUTS that would net him a pile in a drop like we saw today.
