You might remember ABC’s Brian Ross for previously making the absurd on-air claim that Colorado mass shooter James Holmes was a Tea Party member. He completely made up the story, and later apologized.
Well, today ABC News Brian Ross again appeared directly on ABC World News to break a story claiming that candidate Donald Trump told campaign adviser Michael Flynn to make contact with Russians.
Watch, and note specifically what Brian Ross reports:

I did a little bit....not that much. Ended up with just a slightly positive day in spite of ABC’s induced 300+ point drop. BTW, ABC should be held totally accountable, both ethically and legally, for that action, IMHO....jail time is needed for some of these lying, useless POSs.
FWIW, I had purchased PUTs on some of the higher DOW stocks over the past couple of days and closed em out on the drop once they were solidly in the money, but I also went long on some of the metal and oil/gas stocks since they’re so depressed right now and still holding those for the long run. I’m kinda a contrarian investor for the most part. :)
When you desperately want to hang something on Trump, you tend to speed past the road blocks and warning signs that your story is amiss.
