Prediction: Things will go downhill fast after the seminar instructor begins by saying “Ok, everybody grab a seat!”

The House on Wednesday voted to require annual sexual harassment awareness training for all members and staff amid a push to reform the culture on Capitol Hill.
A resolution authored by Rep. Barbara Comstock (R-Va.) passed easily by voice vote, though its passage will not be the hard part for lawmakers seeking to reform the policies to protect Capitol Hill employees from sexual harassment.
Comstock’s measure requires members and staff to undergo anti-harassment and anti-discrimination training during each session of Congress. Interns and fellows would also have to take the training.
Members and staff will have to complete the training no later than 180 days after the second session of the current Congress begins in January.
Will this be Conyers and Franken’s excuse for not resigning? “It’s not fair if we have to quit even before being formally told what we did isn’t allowed!”
The first seminar got underway today:

In the productive part of society we had these mandatory seminars decades ago. Were they considering themselves better than their minions and sexual harassment doesn’t happen in their civilized world?

Is this required under the Constitution, nope.
Nothing in the constitution requires a congressman attend ANY training.
This is nothing more than a PR, cover your a__ move hoping that their taxpayer funded slush fund and those who used it to cover their misdeeds will escape further scrutiny.
save time and money, just have them write an essay over the weekend. Those not getting a good grade get to detention thru Christmas holidays.
Corporate America will react predictably.
Now, in addition to a Diversity officer, who of course is a minority person, Corporate America will add a Harassment Officer, a woman of course, and the hazing will begin with one week courses on what beasts men are. These courses will be mandatory for men. This will also unleash new opportunities for women who want to remove someone they want gone by making a complaint. Most complaints will be taken at face value and the “perp” will be fired forthwith.

Ridiculous. In every workplace, every solitary person knows the sexual harassment rules, from the janitor to the CEO. There’s mandatory training all the time. These freaks in DC know what’s right and wrong. Saying they’ll offer training NOW is just a stalling tactic.
If the Commies wanted to bring America to its knees, they couldn’t do much better than get Political Correctness, Diversity training and now Harassment brainwashing to America.
I think she’s joking as if they have to be treated like children. In reality, they absolutely know it’s abusive and that’s exactly why they do it. Forcing others makes them feel powerful, entitled, superior. I remember thinking POlanski could have any number of adult wanna-be starlets or models but those weren’t good if they were willing. HE wanted someone he could physically overpower and FORCE while they begged him to stop. Sick.
