Fantasy no longer! Invisibility code cracked
WND (World Net Daily) ^ | 11/19/2017 | Alicia Powe

WASHINGTON – Top scientists in Israel are on the verge of a revolutionary breakthrough, creating a cloak that can render a person invisible.

In their real-world quest for invisibility, scientists at Ben-Gurion University have developed a device that scatters light away from an object so it cannot be detected, making the object invisible to the eye.

Physicists developed the method for concealing objects based on the study of “metamaterials,” which focuses on exploiting and controlling light by examining how it interacts with objects.

Those arrays of minuscule components bend, scatter, transmit or otherwise shape electromagnetic radiation in ways that no natural material can, according to Nature.com.

Bending electromagnetic radiation, such as light, around an object, gives the appearance that the object isn’t there at all, but still can be located by infrared sensors or radar.

Wouldn’t it be interesting if what you propose has already occurred (or would already be occurring in the future...).

Maybe we ought to set up infrared cameras to make sure there aren’t any invisible time-travelling visitors from the future wandering among us...

” Now if we can just master time travel.”

If you would go forward or back, would you end up floating space where the Earth was or would be then?

Another new tech I have watched over the later 3 years is “Atlas” from Boston Dynamics. (Robotics).
See youtube or google.

Point: if this is cleared for public knowledge (and PLA eyes to emulate), what are they keeping secret in the back rooms?

I don’t buy it one bit, I’ll believe it when I see it.

I used to have a ninja cloak of invisibility, but I set it down somewhere...

This is great news!

Been there twice, and now I also have a brindle Lab/Pit mix that blends in perfectly to the couch, or in the dark.

Invisibility ‘invented’ by the Jews first.

Damn.

And the Palestinians were just weeks away from making the same announcement.

“Try finding a Black Lab outside on a moonless night.

They are already tough enough to “photograph” in the sunshine on a sunny day.

Total photon traps.”

The first time I heard of that was when I adopted a beautiful, black flat-coat retriever from a rescue service (where he’d been for about 6 months) at their outdoor “fair”. I asked why they’d had him so long, and they said he was so dark they couldn’t get a decent photo of him for their web site (said it always came out a black blob) so nobody asked about him. That was my good luck - the best dog I ever had (got him at 2, had him for 10 years).

and infrared will defeat it. Possibly also UV spectrum will as well.

Pretty sure those other spectrums can be jammed or distorted more easily. You just have to do it enough that the enemy can’t aim accurately.

They can be photographed in good light, but you need a, now expensive, professional DSLR where one can manually adjust all of the exposure settings. I don’t have one of those, just the run of the mill iphone kinda stuff.

Bassett Hound! I miss my old hound. She was a sweetie, even after the time she grabbed the Thanksgiving turkey 🦃 off the table 😀
