Sex Scandals: Who's Really to Blame?
American Thinker.com ^ | November 17, 2017 | Brian C. Joondeph

After months of an incessant drumbeat of Trump-Russia collusion, big media is taking a break, having a new bone to chew, specifically the Judge Roy Moore story. Another of a string of famous men and past sex scandals ranging from boorish behavior to harassment and rape.

In past years, this type of behavior only warranted media coverage if a Republican was involved. Democrats were typically given a pass, the story downplayed, excuses made, the accusers challenged, and the story buried.

With Harvey Weinstein, this pattern changed. Harvey was a loyal Democrat, donating large sums of money to the party, holding fundraisers, supporting all the right causes from abortion to global warming.

The dominos continue to fall as we learn of many other sexual predators in Hollywood and the media. Not only Hollywood types, but members of Congress. As recently reported, $15 million was paid out to Congressional accusers after sexual harassment allegations. The same Congress that can’t figure out how to cut taxes can rely on taxpayers to fund hush money for their boorish behavior.

The common denominator for Weinstein, Richard Dreyfus, George Takei, Kevin Spacey, Mark Halperin, and Louis CK is that all are Democrats. Maybe not in party registration, but in philosophy and their anti-Trump, anti-conservative views, supporting all of the proper liberal causes.

Roy Moore is the exception, although in fairness to my premise, he was a Democrat at the time of his alleged indiscretions. If he had remained a Democrat, I wonder if the Washington Post would have had any interest in the story, much less broken it wide open.

But why did the dam break with Weinstein? Why has news of the latest Democrat behaving badly supplanted CNN’s breathless coverage of the latest supposed evidence of Trump and Putin scheming to hack the 2016 election?

excerpt:

"...the woman tells how Gore greeted her at the door of his room at the Hotel Lucia for the 11 p.m. appointment with a hug that "went on a bit long," then quipped "call me Al." Hotel staff had told the licensed therapist when booking her that the client was Al Gore, but that he was going under the name "Mr Stone."

Gore allegedly asked her to focus on his abdominal area and adductors -- the inner thigh muscles -- as well as his back and other areas.

While his lower body was covered with a sheet, she said, Gore "became vocal" with "muffled moans" and asked her to go lower, getting angry when she refused.

"It appeared he was demanding sexual favors or sexual behaviors," the woman said.

She then asked Gore to show her where he wanted to be massaged and he "grabbed my hand, shoved it down under the sheet to his ***** **** area, my fingers brushing against his ***** and firmly planted my hand on his pubic crest region and said to me 'There!' in a very sharp, loud, angry-sounding tone."

The woman told police she was caught in "a perfect storm" in a room with someone who was "Teflon-coated in terms of his credibility and celebrity status"..."

Police specifically responded to claims by the woman -- who said she remained clothed through the alleged encounter -- that she had noticed her black slacks had "stains" on them.

Police said they did not collect her attire because they believed it would not provide evidence.

“At this point, the Police Bureau does not consider this an ongoing investigation unless new evidence is received in this case,” Wednesday's police statement said.

If you listen to the things being said about white men, it isn’t very different that the way Nazis spoke about Jews, or Stalin spoke about Kulaks.

Never let your guard down if you are one of the identified group responsible for all the wrongs in society.

You have good instincts. We’re dealing with a level of brainwashing that is off the charts.

Where was John Edwards around the time his alleged "love child" Frances Quinn Hunter was conceived?

The senator was in New York – receiving his Father of the Year Award.

Edwards accepted his June 27, 2007, honor from the Father's Day/Mother's Day Council exactly eight months before the child was born Feb. 27, 2008, according to a birth certificate obtained by the Charlotte Observer.

Before beginning his Father of the Year acceptance speech, Edwards told an adoring crowd, "I hate to admit it, but I am not the best parent in my family. ..."

McGreevey Had Gay Truckstop Sex While Maintaining Heterosexual Cover

James Joyner
Monday, May 22, 2006

Former New Jersey Governor [DEMOCRAT] Jim McGreevey reveals his life of seedy debauchery before press revelations of an affair with a male aide forced him into coming out of the closet.

Jim McGreevey shockingly admits that before he became governor of New Jersey, he’d have anonymous gay sex at Garden State highway rest stops. “All I knew was that my behavior was getting crazier and crazier,” McGreevey says of his torrid truck-stop trysts in an upcoming book that details his tortured life of lies and sexual repression:

With each new encounter, I was getting nearer and nearer to being caught – which surely would have generated headlines, especially after I became executive director of the state parole board” in the mid-1980s.

“The closet starves a man, and when he gets a chance he gorges till it sickens him,” he writes in his book, titled “The Confession.”

If the GOPe had gotten their man Luther the Strange, they would be screaming foul, instead of demanding he step down.

“It is dividing our culture in half and nothing good is going to come of it.”

That is the point of cultural marxism or ideological subversion.

Rich vs poor, black vs white, women vs men, etc. —>division

Division towards the goal of societal disintegration & destruction.

Soviets set this in motion. The boomer generation drank this soviet subversion koolaid by the gallon and passed this poison on to the next generation. Repeat-repeat & now we’re on auto pilot headed directly into the mountain side.

“Civil culture is becoming impossible. “

Maybe so, but the Weinstein’s of the world started it! But they had better take a look at their “army” if they want a fight. Yeah, they have money, but their numbers are miniscule. They will be hanging from lamp posts on day one if the SHTF.

Both are ugly MFers! And that’s only talking about what you see. Their “insides” are far worse!

An objective and unbiased MSM is supposed to keep everyone honest... we don’t have that anymore... We haven’t had that for decades.

You see the results

You can also see they are washing their hands of the Clintons because they are now saying that they "believe Jennifer Flowers and others"....

When they start calling for Franken to step down you might be able to believe they are serious but that ain't gonna happen unless his next run is an obvious wash.....

For sure, Harvey bragged about his exploits....b/c he’s so ugly and slovenly, he had to proclaim his conquests.

Dollars to donuts, Harvey’s conquests were described as willing participants.

Many factors as other posters have pointed out. But an additional factor is that his power was lessening. Stars on the rise get a pass. Guys who are getting too old to wield power or to be useful get thrown under the bus.

one of my theories: There is a lot of evil going on. Groping women is the least of it. (And I don’t mean to diminish the seriousness of attacks on women.) But I am wondering if maybe they are offering up these “garden variety” sexual predators where some of the allegations could be considered poor judgment or he said/she said in order to distract from Pizzagate and similar crimes.

A lot of men can probably think of a time when they were young and said or did something that was over the line. So they can sympathize with some of the accusations. Chronic behavior (Kennedys, Clinton, ...) is a different matter.

I find it interesting that it seems that libs/media have turned men desiring women into almost a perversion, yet they regard as “normal” and “protected” anything that the rest of us would really consider to be perverted.

(I am not excusing rape, groping, or any other behavior that crosses the line.)

This is a move to take out the Clinton/establishment wing of the ‘rat party, and all those connected with them - bigname supporters, contributors, spokesmen - payback for expelling the Bernie/Ellison/Muslim/Socialist coterie from leadership and control in the DNC, and prelude to the run for the presidency in 2020......
