FBI Probe Of Paul Manafort Focuses On 13 “Suspicious” Wire Transfers(from 2012)
Buzzfeed ^

Posted on 10/29/2017 6:20:04 AM PDT by janetjanet998

he FBI's investigation of Donald Trump's former campaign manager, Paul Manafort, includes a keen focus on a series of suspicious wire transfers in which offshore companies linked to Manafort moved more than $3 million all over the globe between 2012 and 2013.

Much of the money came into the United States.

These transactions — which have not been previously reported — drew the attention of federal law enforcement officials as far back as 2012, when they began to examine wire transfers to determine if Manafort hid money from tax authorities or helped the Ukrainian regime close to Russian President Vladimir Putin launder some of the millions it plundered through corrupt dealings.

The new revelations come as special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation is tightening, with reports that an indictment may already have been issued. It is not known if Manafort has been indicted, or if he ever will be. Manafort has been the subject of multiple law enforcement and congressional inquiries. A spokesperson for Manafort would not comment for this story about the investigation or any of the specific transactions, but Manafort has previously denied wrongdoing.

he was actually working to undermine the Trump campaign when he was hired as the campaign manager.

How the hell did he ever become campaign manager

"Mueller and Rosenstein have got to go."

Let's be reasonable about this, and give these two the same respect and professional leeway that was afforded Ken Starr./s

If this is what is released on Monday, Mueller is toast.

Didn’t the campaign begin in June 2016?

June 2015, but your point is well taken.

If this is all the Mueller team has to show for itself its time to shut it down.

Is everyone Trump knows to be investigated for everything they ever did because they know him?

Yes.

The left did the same during the Reagan years. They've done similar to many conservatives for decades. Remember how Scooter Libby was continually "investigated" by some activist lawyer who finally got an indictment through entrapment?

The goal here is to bully and abuse anyone who stands up against the leftist power cabal, with the intent to prevent any threat to their power by making an example of anyone who stands up to them.

Apparently he was brought in for a limited period of time to deal with one specific issue. He made his reputation as a political guru back in 1976 when he worked for Gerald Ford. The 1976 election was the last time one of the major parties did not have a nominee established before the convention, and the 2016 GOP campaign was looking like it could play out the same way. Manafort was brought in for his expertise in dealing with a potential brokered convention, and he was let go after the convention when Trump had the nomination secured.

When Bill Clinton was at the height of the Monica Lewinsky sex scandal, Hollywood was by his side, offering donations for his legal fees, and one significant donor was a man who is now going through his own sex scandal—Harvey Weinstein.

Billionaire Harvey Weinstein raised $1,422,683 for federal candidates and political entities between 1990-2016. That’s small potatoes for his 27 years of rank Democratism, sucking up to feminism and upholding so-called abortion rights as he rampaged and assaulted young women. Adds up to about $5300 a year. Something tells me there are a lot of cash payments off-the-record being paid. (hat tip outpostinmass2)

Crunching the numbers as outpost did does give us a sharper look at the political money game as played by the conniving Clintons.

Harvey also gave a bundle to the nefarious tax-exempt Clinton Foundation and perhaps to offshoots of the Clintons tax-free entities.

Did Harvey's donations to the C/F go to "do-good projects"? Or did they make a circuitous route? Maybe landing back into the Clintons eternal political scams?

====================================================

The Weinstein Company's remaining board members Ben Ammar, Lance Maerov told the Financial Times they were aware of Weinstein's alleged sexual assualt of Italian model Ambra Battilana Gutierrez in 2015, and had tried to remove him from the company.

Nor was this their first attempt to get rid of him: in 2014, they reportedly called for an investigation into possible "financial impropriety" by the producer, but were quashed by Weinstein's lawyers. At the time, the producer's contract stated that he could only be fired if he was convicted of a felony, a clause that remained in place until his contract was amended late in 2015.

“Is everyone Trump knows to be investigated for everything they ever did because they know him?”

Yes, or at least they have to fear it. Innocence will not stop reputations, businesses, and finances from being ruined. We are witnessing a CIA-style isolate/destabilize operation. Wonder who is running it?

They also knew about Harvey's gargantuan sexual appetite who ponied up bigtime for Clinton's lewinsky sex mess defense:

Herewith, for your edification, are the Certified Democrat Degenerates......the scum that vilify and destroy America's Judeo-Christian ethics and values in movies promoted as being "diverse, politically correct, and socially relevant."

HOLLYWOOD'S CERTIFIED DEMOCRAT DEGENERATES
FINACED BILL CLINTON'S LEWINSKY SEX MESS

According to FEC Info, an Internet Web site (www.tray.com) that tracks federal political contributions, 176 individual donors actually contributed $10,000 or more to the lewinsky-era Clinton Legal Expense Trust fund through Dec 1999. Another 21 donors gave $10,000 in the first six months of 2000.

Thanks to Hollyood's generosity, a total of more than $2.2 million was raised in six months, which was notably more than was collected in funding during the previous four years of his presidency—combined.

Hollywood producers and stars made up the bulk of the most generous givers. They included:

<><> Universal Studios tycoon Lew Wasserman and his wife, Edith, who have given $60,000;

<><>DreamWorks trio Steven Spielberg, David Geffen and Jeffrey Katzenberg, $20,000 each;

<><> producer Ron Burkle and his wife, Janet, $40,000;

<><> producers Peg and Bud Yorkin, $30,000;

<><> TV producer Norman Lear, $20,000.

Entertainment celebrities and executives giving $10,000 included:

<><> singers Tony Bennett and Barbra Streisand;

<><> actors Michael Douglas and Tom Hanks;

<><> director Ron Howard; producer Gail Zappa;

<><>Black Entertainment Television founder Robert L. Johnson.

=================================================

<><> How did the Hollyood elite list payments to Clinton's sex defense fund on their tax returns?

<><>How did the "DreamWorks" trio, Steven Spielberg, David Geffen and Jeffrey Katzenberg, list their 60,000 dollars to Clinton's sex defense fund?

<><>How did BET list its contribution to Clinton on its corporate statements?

<><> Did Harvey's company list these payments as "business expenses?"

The biggie is the tax element.

<><> Did donors deduct it as a “business expense”,

<><> was it included in assets, payments listed on organization balance sheets as a "liability?"

<><> Did Clinton document it as "income"?

<><> Were the donors given a tax-free certificate from the Clinton Foundation?

====================================

Other possible crimes: 1. Income Tax Evasion if payoffs to victims deducted as business expense 2. Bribery if any federal official was given anything of value, including campaign contributions, to cover up his actions 3. Kidnapping if any of his victims were detained against their will 4. Communication from one state to another state with the purpose of covering up a state crime could become a federal issue. This could include conspiracy laws if some other person assisted in intimidation or payoff to coverup a crime.

Liz-are you thinking-as may have happened-that the CF/CGI took up where Bernie left off?

I’d bet a bunch of names/interests/families intersect with his funds and the CF/CGI. And it could have become a way and means for them to “get back” some of what they lost. The timing between his blowing up and the expansion of the CF/CGi are interesting to say the least

As much as I agree that Mueller should be removed from the Special Council,
I don't think that it is a coincidence that Mueller is charging someone just as the Uranium One story is starting to gain attention.
Mueller files BS charges against someone which changes the news cycle and if DJT moves to stop this nonsense, He can be accused of Obstruction of justice.
Practically everyone in the special council has ties to the Clinton Foundation.

Problem is, we’ve got a “justice”’ system which turned a blind eye to 30 years of Democrat corruption.

That’s the problem I have with all this. Republicans are held to a higher standard than democrats. Our government is knee-deep in corruption.

Or did Manafort cop a plea in return for turning on Podesta?

IIRC Manafort was a hired gun and Trump hired him when the eGOP tried to do a Bernie (Clinton) on him with state unbound delegates. (Of course he's dirty! It is a tangled web involving practically everyone in that swamp!)

1) These are the guys who reported the “dossier” when they knew it was false.

2) Nevertheless, this wouldn’t surprise me. Further confirmation this is nothing about Trump or his family. 2012-2013

3) Since it’s BuzzFeed, we’d expect this but notice no mention of his work with Podestas.

4) Two grand jury witnesses reported that that was ALL they were asked about, Manafort and Manafort’s dealing with the Podesta Group.

Manafort has been a D.C. Swamp Creature for decades, and the information reported on him in recent weeks makes me wonder if he was actually working to undermine the Trump campaign when he was hired as the campaign manager. His ties to Hillary Clinton and her minions are much deeper than his ties to Donald Trump.

Bill Still has been the most reliable reporter I've followed for the past two years, and he recently surmised that Manafort was a double agent working on behalf of the Clinton / Deep State team. If that's accurate, then Trump will have given another sleazy character the rope to hang himself.
