Thousands of Americans Will Scream Helplessly at the Sky on Trump's Election Anniversary
Chris Riotta Newsweek23 October 2017
Thousands of concerned citizens will take part in a new ritual of sorts, commemorating the anniversary of Donald Trump's election by screaming at the sky.
Over 4,000 Facebook users have RSVP'danother 33,000 are interested in attendingto the Nov. 8 event being held in Boston that is quite literally titled "Scream helplessly at the sky on the anniversary of the election."
he event is pretty much self-explanatory: on the anniversary of last years election, thousands will flock to the Boston Common for a party fueled by despair and aggravation over the contest's winner whom 73 million Americans voted against.
"Come express your anger at the current state of democracy, and scream helplessly at the sky!" the Facebook events details section states.
Protests have erupted across the country since Trump first took office, with the Womens March occurring the day after his January 20 inauguration possibly marking the largest single-day demonstration in U.S. history. Virtually each of those demonstrations has come with a call-to-action: the Womens March demanded gender equality and inclusion, protests at airports nationwide have stood in opposition to Trumps travel restrictions on Muslim-majority nations and other events have been spearheaded by progressive organizations like Planned Parenthood as fundraising initiatives.
The scream event is certainly a one-of-a-kind protest, but it isnt the only unique demonstration created in the wake of Trumps election. Residents of Washington, D.C. flocked to Vice President Mike Pences house and threw a dance party celebrating the LGBT community. Nationwide groups are also finding new ways to engage with their representatives, including baking cupcakes for Republican lawmakers when they derail Trumps conservative agenda.

I thought AntiFa was going to end the country as we know it on Nov 4th.
As destructive as Obama’s presidency was and how upset we all were by his election, did we actively seek to make *ourselves* miserable to this degree? No, of course not. Life goes on. These people seem to have no laugh. It’s funny in some ways, but when it comes right down to it - it is very sad to think people are living their lives in this amount of self-inflicted misery.
Thousands of insane hysterics yelling at night. Proof of insanity.
Key word is ‘Helplessly’.
Bwaaaaw ha ha ha ha ha!
They’ve turned a great nation into a real freak show with their Trump Derangement Syndrome. Too many nut cases running around.
I think I will drink a margarita as the salt will remind me of their tears, while encouraging each one them to have vigorous sex with themselves.
Are they going to howl at the moon too LOL..seriously this is another reason why President Trump won..look at these idiots..still can’t get over the fact that Trump beat their lil princess..they are going to scream ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh what maroons..Id recommend they get laid but by the looks of them I doubt they ever have gotten lucky
Reminds me of the “Old man yells at cloud” newspaper pic on The Simpsons.
These people are such idiots I doubt they would know how to commit suicide correctly
I just watched that today! LOL.
Time to stock up on popcorn.
I’m buying AA batteries for my real camera, so they can actually see me taking their picture.
(And i believe in the 2A, too.)
Amen!
Maybe we don't really have to. Most of us are busy working.
I always felt that demonstrations were for losers. Truth can stand on its own.
Which is why I always hated seeing conservative counter-protesters. Why even dignify these idiots? You're only giving them the attention they crave.
MIght want to back that up to November 5 so they can howl at a full moon. On the 8th, it’s only a gibbous moon.
And MILLIONS will be thanking GOD for Trump's election.
Ps 2
Why do the heathen rage, ... He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh
