The UN Working Group of Experts on People of African Descent issued a report on Monday, stating that the United States owes Americans of African descent reparations for slavery and other incidents of mistreatment, up to the present day.
The group asserts that the reparations are due because of the disadvantages caused by 245 years of legalized slavery of black Africans in America, and that the United States has not confronted its legacy of “racial terrorism.”

American blacks owe me reparations for the blood and treasure my direct ancestors paid to free their ancestors. Mine were abolitionists, union supporters and most fought through all four years of the war.

The blood of hundreds of thousands of White men killed in the Civil War and the 16 trillion tax dollars spent on welfare/rehabilitation programs since LBJ’s “War on Poverty” in the ‘60s should have taken care of anything we “owe” to them.
My family did not migrate from Europe until 1868 and were required to prove they had purchased land before they could come to the USA. As farmers, they did their own “slave work.” That’s why they had large families!

African Americans should be forever grateful their ancestors endured the horrors of slavery. Otherwise they would only be Africans.....far worse off collectively.
My ancestors only arrived in America in the 1880’s so you won’t get anything from me.
The blacks that came to America are the luckiest blacks in the world history.

Tell them to go to the Cemetery at Gettysburg and Arlington, then after that everyone that was a slave line up and get your check.

Slavery was outlawed in the captured territory (only) of the Confederacy by the Emancipation Proclamation, in 1862. No slave holding states in the union, such as Maryland and Kentucky, were required to free slaves. Slavery was outlawed by constitutional amendment in 1865 for the entire US.
Have the British paid reparations?
Have the Muslims paid reparations? (They continue to enslave people to this very day.)
When those things happen, UN, you can come back to us and we’ll get right on making the democrat party pay reparations to African Americans for all they did.
Reparations - I’m all for it.
Given that the US is such a horrible country, and their ancestors were forced to come here, it is only right and proper that we fix this situation.
One way paid household move to the African country of their choice plus a resettlement payment equal to one year of current government payments that they have been receiving. The only things they need to do is 1. agree and sign up 2. Revoke US citizenship - which should be very easy, given how horrible and racist the US is. Move to be scheduled and executed within 60 days.
Reparations were paid in the form of 700,000 white boys who slaughtered each other. Millions of others paid in arms, legs, eyes, destroyed families.
Reparations were paid in full! Of course I might pony up a few bucks to give some of them as they get off the boat in any African port and permanently leave the USA.
One more reason to kick the UN out of the US.
What do you mean “return to their homeland.” Blacks in the US are Americans. Don’t like the reparations talk, but also don’t like the “GO BACK TO AFRICA!” crap either.
