The court ruled that a 92-year-old memorial was in violation of the First Amendment because it is on public land and must be removed.

So much for the first amendment.

For 92 years no one saw any problem or constitutional issue. Suddenly, leftists became “enlightened.”

I just want to know when civil war II is coming because I’m actually looking forward to it. So many scores to settle.

Many of our courts are 100% stupid and anti-America. Many members should be in jail or deposited in a landfill.

These fools on the left are acting as if they are sold out for this “and” concept, as if two things which coexist and which compete for the ultimate loyalties of the people can in fact be separate.

But they cannot be, for that would be like saying men should have two masters: the State and their faith and one has a domain that the other must not ever intrude upon ... and of course since EVERYTHING is political the point of separation must be in favor of the domain on the State.

The Church may be separate from the state ... in which case men are free first and foremost in their consciences before the divine, however they understand such

The State may be separate from the church ... in which case it has need of suitable police powers with which it can protect itself from any improper influence, even that which arises because of the beliefs of the people, and with those powers the ability to DO SOMETHING about those who aren’t content with whatever space the a State permits their faith to dwell in.

The first is the way of Liberty where men are empowered to try to regulate their government, and society, no matter what the source of or what informs their consciences.

The latter is the road to bondage.

There is no middle ground possible. There is no “and” separation where they are concurrent but mutually exclusive.

Either men are free and the State held powerless to defend itself when they act in the public space EVEN if they do so as informed by their understanding of the divine ...

... either that or men are held powerless to influence the State in any way it’s elites deem improper or for whatever cause they deem improper.

A man cannot happily serve two masters. The secular left understands this even as they hide behind the pretext that they can “and” even as, all along, they are doing what they can to support the one master whom they serve and whom they trust and thereby remove God whom they do not serve and whom they do not trust.

One can even look at the Islamophilia of the left through this lens: Christianity is their enemy and having easily offended Muslims whose Offendsensitivity is predicated in their book is a handy pretext to expunge Christian influence.

Trump needs to speak out on this.

The Judicary was never meant to be host to zealous Marxist scum. It is a perverted form from the Founders intended

he American Humanist Association, an organization that advocates for secularism and represented several non-Christian residents of Prince George's County.

In other words, a single family of atheists brought down this symbol of Christianity and the reverence of our fallen military heroes that has been standing for all these years.................

What a waste of time. Yes, it will be submitted to the Supremes and that will end it. But consider all the taxpayer money and court time that will have been wasted.

Not sure how they are going to justify and go about removing this. The Peace Cross is on the National Register of Historical Places.

The National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) is the United States federal government's official list of districts, sites, buildings, structures, and objects deemed worthy of preservation.

One would think it will not be up to one judge to make this decision.

The nation will pay for such a$$inine judgments as this. The Founders were men of faith and I really believe that is why the U.S. has enjoyed G-d’s protection.

If they want it removed, let the members of the court pay for it and do it themselves.

Wonder what group filed the lawsuit...

A federal appeals court has ruled that a 40-foot cross-shaped Maryland monument honoring soldiers who died in World War I is unconstitutional, saying it violates the separation between church and state.

Yes, because an inanimate object is Congress establishing a religion.

Do these “judges” also not know arithmetic?

The misconception of the Separation of Church and State by the courts goes back a long way and has been wrong.

There is nothing about that Cross that promotes a State Religion.

It’s 92 years old but it just suddenly violates the Constitution now? Color me skeptical.

The cross is only objectionable if it was paid for with government money.
