Bannon will back challenges against EVERY Republican running for Senate re-election except Cruz

Now President Trump's ex-White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon is eyeing every Republican senator up for re-election next year, positioning candidates in each race save one, the seat belonging to Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas.

Bannon's main aim is to elect enough pro-Trump GOP senators to oust Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., who he's largely blamed for the president's early stumbles with Congress, casting the Kentuckian as an elitist looking down at Trump's working class base.

'Mitch McConnell and this permanent political class is the most corrupt and incompetent group of individuals in this country,' Bannon said at a recent rally for Roy Moore, the GOP Senate candidate who won a run-off primary against Sen. Luther Strange, R-Ala., last month.

This will be very dangerous for rinos.....a single conservative voice, telling the rest of the pack of conservatives who usually split the race, to quit the race. Even if they do not quit the race voters will know which one to get behind because they will think Bannon is Trumps voice out of the White House.

What is your problem. Bannon and Trump are the only anti Establishment pro nationalist game in town. Why are you trashing them? Are you a GOPe mole?

If Mike Lee had his way Trump would not be POTUS. He is a backstabber nonpareil. [Yes, the site is liberalamerica. Lee’s backstabbery was widely reported, but I linked a liberal site to illustrate which side his self-righteous Never-Trumpery appealed to. He became an instant liberal hero.]

‘Sen. Mike Lee BLASTS Trump, Calls On Him To Step Aside (VIDEO)

In a three-minute video posted on Facebook, which was widely shared and retweeted on Friday night, a visibly angry Lee said:

“It has occurred to me on countless occasions today that if anyone spoke to my wife, or my daughter, or my mother, or any of my five sisters, the way Mr. Trump has spoken to women, I wouldn’t hire that person … I wouldn’t want to be associated with that person, and I certainly don’t think I would feel comfortable hiring that person to be the leader of the free world.”’

He didn’t trash Trump. He raised an issue with Bannon. I’ve done as much, and I’m not a mole. (I’ve had issues with Bannon ever since he went out of his way to hire Milo Yiannopoulos and “make him a star.” The Left does a good enough job of promoting flaming gays without Breitbart’s help.)

I judge Senators based on their voting record. Lee has a 100% conservative score at ConservativeReview.com .

Yet Lee did everything in his power to give us President Hillary. That is the trouble with “true conservatives;” they end up either saddling us with the least conservative option, or at a minimum trying to.

If you would prefer President Hillary then Lee is the ‘true conservative,’ for you. I won’t be following you off that clif.

Saw the Hannity clip of Bannon.

“Cruz is a good man?”

Steve. Please. Stop. Cruz is CFR/GOPe and wrote Bush’s Amnesty papers, and a liar to boot regarding Canadian status. I’ll be praying for you, Mr. Bannon.

Ronna would say that that was on Priebus’s watch, not hers. But your point is well taken.

Senator Cruz co-sponsored legislation to suspend the H1-B program indefinitely.

And it is true that Breitbart is a Pro-Trump sycophant. Bannon made it the house organ of Trump’s campaign.

Corker will be replaced by Marsha Blackburn, which is a major step forward.

In Arizona, Kelli Ward is already challenging Flake. In Nevada, Danny Tarkanian is already challenging Heller.

Hatch may retire, but if he does, Mitt Romney will probably run. (Given that the RNC chair is Mittens’s niece, let’s see the RNC remain netutral in that one.) Unfortunately, Romney has name recognition. A conservative challenge might be hard to pull off. (perhaps we can get McMullin to run too and win in a three-way race.)

I know Chris McDaniel is thinking about challenging Wicker. That would be a tremendous improvement.

I have not yet heard of a challenge to Fischer. Perhaps Bannon has someone in mind.

Moore will replace Strange, and that is a step forward.

We need to win primaries in several states where a Democrat Senator sits, especially in those 10 states Trump carrid where there is a Democrat senator, such as West Virginia (Manchin), North Dakota (Heitkamp), Ohio (Brown), and others.

This could make the Senate more conservative and more Republican. And we’d have more than just four or five votes (at most) we can count on to support conservative principles.

Ted Cruz has not changed. He is the same guy he has been. He’s a guy who has done filibusters and taken other actions to support our cause. He has taken on McConnell and exposed Ditch for the liar he is. (That’s why McConnell reacted to Trump’s nomination by saying, “Thank God it’s not Cruz.”) he is a guy who has a lifetime 100 percent rating from ACU (one of only three) and a 97 percent from Conservative Review.

Real conservatives support for that guy enthusiastically

Breitbart stopped being conservative when Andrew died.

What's so unconservative about it?

Sooooo, why did Ted the Cruz pay off iCarly's campaign to the tune of 5 hundred thousand big? ACU is a rigged rating.. old Lord McCain during the course of his Senate gig rated way up there as well... I do agree with you on your point that Ted Cruz has not changed, he is first and foremost a Harvard educated lawyer politician... But he continues to miss the mark on conservatism. Most recent was him falling for the false flag in Charlottesville, VA.... He did NOT do his homework... the 'nazi' junk was a liberal fake to ensare President Trump... When has Ted Cruz ever said squat about the 'antifa' thugs... like never.

McCain hasn’t gotten a good rating from ACU in years.

Candidates often help other candidates pay off debts.

Do you recall the 2012 Texas primary? The Establishment pulled out all the stops to stop Ted Cruz. It didn’t work. David Dewhurst still can’t figure out why.

Ted has stood up on important issues and compiled one of teh most conservative voting records in the Senate. You really need to get over your CDS.
