Hmmm... I read the other day that the Raiders have been negotiating with the Oakland Coliseum people to play their games in Oakland for 2019, citing concerns over whether their new Raider Palace in Las Vegas will be ready in time. Given these allegations, I wonder if there are more snags in the stadium build than we know about!
Then again, the way that the owners and players are acting lately, will there even be a need for an NFL stadium in any city by 2020???

It’s why q/backs, owners and coach’s ( especially those that are white) are afraid. These nfl players have the mentality of an 8th grader, they are stupid, dumb and ignorant. You can bet the nfl is going nuts trying to cover this up. If it’s true, that the game was thrown, it’s over for the nfl. Good riddence.
It’s as fake as wrestling. We should have realized that a decade ago. Maybe up through the 1980s...it was still legit.

Linemen letting a QB eat dirt in a few early plays as some kind of lesson really isn’t exactly the same thing as throwing the game. The distinction might become important.

Everybody but Carr must’ve been in on it then, because Lynch couldn’t run, the receivers were getting stuck as soon as they caught the ball. I doubt that anyone would voluntarily get pummeled by the Redskins defense to prove a point.
Blow outs happen. I doubt that anyone thought the Broncos would beat the Cowboys 42-17. Those same Broncos then proceeded to get beat by Buffalo.
If this turns out to be true, then the NFL is in bad, bad shape and would appear to be collapsing.
Where is the vaunted Sports Illustrated investigative reporting here? What about ESPN, or won’t they touch this because it doesn’t fit their desired narrative?
David Carr is a devout person. I hope this all isn’t true, but it sure has a ring of authenticity to it.
