I hope people will put the popcorn and their feet down and do whatever they can to support MAGA candidates run and win. They will need all the help they can get from us.

The Washington Post just realized we declared all-out war now?--they must've missed the 2016 election.

think about it trump supported Mitch’s boy verbally but did he try very hard....I think you are right a deal was struck for trumps support but trump really gave away nothing because matches boy was enough of a looser that trumps support did not really help much.

Strange was more liberal about DACA legislation and more willing to be accommodating to some of McDonnell’s strategies in the Senate. Of course, the big “thing” was that the GOP establishment and Chamber of Commerce put millions into the campaign for Strange.

Liberals tend to worship the man over the message, just as they did with Obama, who could do no wrong in their eyes. Conservatives are more level headed and loyal to a powerful cause: Make America Great Again!

Trumpism defeated Trump
If Trump wont take down the GOPe then Trumpism will have to do it without him

Fungi are great for many reasons, including Portobello and Bleu Cheese. And of course, I never miss an issue of Spores Illustrated.

It was predicted here that the media establishment would try to make this out as some huge loss for Trump, when the opposite is true. Trump now has a huge owe-me on McConnell, and a Senator, assuming a win in the general election, much more in line with his program. Looks like a win-win to me.

Strange was “chosen” by the AL governor and bankrolled by Bitch McConnell.

Another win in Sarah Palin’s column.

I want her back as Alaska governor.

I understand Trump needed to show Senators if they support him, he will support them. He couldn’t go scorched earth on a new Senator who had not opposed his agenda. But his rhetoric was unnecessary. He could and should have stuck to positive things about Strange, and said nothing negative about Moore. His comments will be used against Moore in the election.

It looks like the WaPoo is trying to spin this as a positive thing for liberals.

“Republican civil war” Ha!

What I see is conservatives taking back the Republican party. It’s a war by conservatives against the Uniparty and we are winning. We are Draining the Swamp! One seat at a time.

We need term limits. I favor longer rather than shorter terms, perhaps twelve years (two Senate terms and the equivalent period in the House). Experience does matter and Members do improve after they’ve been through the budget cycle a few times and logged serious time on their subcommittees. People sometimes suggest a six year term, but that would toss Members out just as they’ve learned the job. Twelve years strikes me as an appropriate period. The main thing is to get rid of the lifers. We would lose some good ones, but we would also lose those who have built an unassailable political machine, have become members for life, and who forget who they’re working for.

As I said on another thread, kabuki theater at its best.

Wonder how long it’ll take for the media to figure it out?
